Thanksgiving Day and I have had nothing to eat yet, this computer isn't looking half bad right now. Back at this week, getting my picks in with at least 24 hours to spare. Locked my picks in on Tuesday morning, since then the lines have moved the on publicly backed dogs, which scares me a little bit. Oh well, we will drive on any how. No NFL picks this weekend either, just haven't liked any spreads as of late. Here is what I have for College action:
Arkansas +13 Last week at Miss State was a classic look ahead game for the Razorbacks, they didn't take the bait................Arkansas came out focused on both ends of the field. I am aware they play much better at home, like any team. However, they always play LSU tough. Here is my thinking on why I am taking the points and Arkansas when I took LSU +5 when they played Alabama, even though Alabama thumped Arkansas. Still with me? Alabama has a NFL secondary which managed to cause coverage pressure, LSU while an excellent defense just does not have as good a secondary as 'Bama. Therefore, I do not foresee them being able to handle Wilson, Gragg, Childs and Adams as well as the Tide. Make sense? Alot of pressure on LSU here, day game............that makes Death Valley more like Happy Valley. LSU wins a tight game, 3-5 points will be the difference.Loss.
4 Units.
Cal +6 Cal has covered 4 of 5 and been pretty competitive this season, Arizona State has lost 4 of 5 failing to cover their last 3. Arizona State's last win was against mighty Colorado. I get it, the Sun Devils have a 12' 8" QB and an overrated LB..........ok. I realize that Cal is not a strong road team but I still think we are getting 3 more points our way from Vegas. I'll take it!Win.
4 Units.
Virginia +5 Simply put I am not sold on the Hokies and they will struggle in this game to a sleeper Cavalier team. Virginia is a 5 point dog in their own house. Staunch defense and solid QB play from Rocco will get this team and us a W. The Cavs new coach is a good story and has this team focused, VT won't be able to count on points off Beamer Ball as this Cavalier team is too disciplined.Loss.
3 Units.
Notre Dame +8 Stanford better be careful here, their season is all but over anyways but I am sure they do not want a 2nd loss here. Notre Dame struggles against fast defenses (USF) but Stanford has a slow defense which struggles to cover the edges. I have been waiting for the Cardinal to get exposed all season long, the Ducks beat them soundly. I think they will be in for a surprise with ND giving them all they can handle, Luck has not been impressive this year and is missing his best WR, so the Stanford offense could struggle in the passing game and ND is decent against the run, which always helps when facing a running back by committee. Loss.
4 Units.
Duke +13 The Blue Devils are 3-8 but they do like to hang around like a fly that will not be swatted. Rivalry game here as the dislike between the two schools is heating up with BB season underway. UNC has already mailed it in as they already have become bowl eligible in what has been a disappointing season for them. Duke won't lay down and forces you to beat them down till the end of the game, 13 points is too much in this contest.Loss.
3 Units.
There you have it my friends, enjoy your Thanksgivings and stuffed wallets. Also keep an eye on the Texas A&M vs. Texas game, that line is getting a little high, if it hits +10, might be time for a small play! If anybody sees Joker out and about give him a hug as he seems like he is about to set himself ablaze. I think all this Skyrim playing has had an affect on his handicapping skills!

NCAA Week #8 Pick 'em
Decent Saturday last week going 4-2, maybe I am turning the corner halfway through the season. Who knows, but lets hope my winning continues. Lets get to the picks.
Cincinnati +3 USF can't stop the run, Isiah Pead will rack up the mileage, enough to upgrade to 1st class on the flight home. Collaras is mobile and will through all over the non existent defense. The Bulls will struggle to move the ball and will ultimately be embarrassed on Homecoming yet again.Win.
8 Units.
Washington +21 The Huskies are playing well in conference play, they won't pull out the victory here, but they have enough offense to stay within 21. Stanford starts slow and has not been as good as everyone thought this year, tight game going into the half, Stanford pulls away in the 2nd and wins by 17.Loss.
2 Units.
Oklahoma State -7 Another road team here, for some reason the Tigers get alot of credit from Vegas, Oklahoma State just has too many weapons on offense. Cowboys by 10.Win.
3 Units.
Kansas State -11 I have been riding the 'Cats all year, why stop now? Statement game here as the in state rival Jayhawks will be at home, won't matter though. Wildcats by 14.Win.
3 Units.
Wisconsin -9 Badgers head to Lansing to avenge a loss, Sparty could be a little flat here as they just came off an emotional senior sweep of cross state rival Michigan, Russell Wilson will prove the difference and Sparty goes down, Badgers by 10.Loss.
3 Units.
Sweetheart Teaser special:
Oklahoma State +6
Kansas State +1.5
Washington +34
Wisconsin +4.5

Week #5 NCAA Pick 'em, Week #4 NFL Pick 'em
Another rough weekend going 2-3 on Saturday (actually should have been 3-2, thanks to that bs extra point fiasco in my Toledo +2 pick). I got blown out on my Sunday picks, but I think I am dialed in now on my NFL action. Let's see what's on tap for this weekend as I climb back into the race in my Pick 'em league.
Penn State -15 Indiana is bad, Penn State can score points and always show up on defense. I like the Nittany Lions on the road here.Loss.
3 Units.
Louisiana Tech -3 Tough team at home, and they have been scoring some points this season. Hawaii has the long flight away from home and they aren't as good when they are away from that distinct and distracting environment.Loss.
5 Units.
Temple -8 Solid team, Al Golden left a good squad behind in Philly. The defense has been solid and the offense can score points in bunches, basically they are the polar opposite of USF. Toledo will be flat here coming home from some tough losses including the abortion last week where Vegas took their pound of flesh and my cash.Loss.
3 Units.
Washington +10 I think the Utes are way overvalued here coming off their big win versus BYU in the Holy War. Washington can score and Polk will have success on the ground. I think it is too many points here and I will take them. WIN!
2 Units.
Clemson +7 This game gave me some trouble, Clemson has been playing some great ball thus far, that being said they always like to shoot themselves in the foot away from home. VT is decent as expected, but I think the Tigers can keep it within 7. WIN!
2 Units.
NFL Picks
Bengals +3 Cincy defense is vastly overrated, The Bills could get caught in a flat spot here after their skull dragging of the Patriots. Benson is suspended which will actually probably help us here. Dalton has been pretty solid so far this year, vastly improved compared to preseason at least so the Bengals should be able to move the ball against a suspect Bills D, who could have trouble getting up for the bottom feeding Bengals.Win!
2 Units
Panthers +7 Cutler and the Bears offensive line worries me, while the Panthers are no aces on defense I think Cam Newton and Steve Smith will do enough to keep the Panthers in this game. Im not going to go as far to say the Panthers will win outright, but the Bears definitely have some problems right now, I think their faith in their QB is a bit shaken. Win!
5 Units.
Dolphins +7 I should have jumped on this game when its was +9, the Dolphins are desperate right now and the Chargers look like they are sleep walking. The Chargers are really hurting on the defensive side of the ball and it will show here. The Miami defense should do enough to keep them in this game.Loss
2 Units.
Falcons -5 I have been fading the Falcons all season thus far. This week I am going to jump on them. Don't be fooled by the Seahawks performance last week against the Cards. The Cardinals have no running game right now, so Seattle keyed in on Fitzgerald the Cards lone offensive threat. The Falcons have much more than one offensive threat and Mike Smith like to cover on the road. Falcons in a blowout. Loss.
4 Units.
Vikings -2 The Vikings are a dumpster fire, but the offense has been scoring points and the defense has been giving them up in the second half. Don' be fooled by the Chiefs close loss at San Diego last week, as I stated earlier the Chargers have massive holes on defense. Loss
3 Units.
There it is. I really need to get back on track as Vegas has been getting the better of me thus far which is the wrong answer.

Week #3 NCAA and Week #2 NFL Pick 'em
Not exactly a stellar week for me last weekend, no time to reflect on a mediocre performance though, we have money to make. I am really feeling the heat in my annual college football pick 'em challenge, so I really need to deliver here. Plus my loyal fan base deserves a solid showing!
Let's get to the picks!
NCAA
Boise St -20 On the road again for the Broncos facing a tough Toledo squad. The Broncos are a very good team to put it mildly. The Rockets stood tall with Ohio State last weekend but came up a little short in the end. It could be hard for Toledo to get up for this game on a short week and after taking one on the chin last week, for the Rockets that was their BCS title game so they could come out flat against Boise State which will put them in a deep hole. I think Ohio State is vastly overrated and even though I hate laying 20 points here the Broncos are just too good.Win!
2 Units.
UCLA +4 The Bruins are due, Nuehiesel needs to deliver a win against a big program and here is his chance at home. UCLA lost to Houston in what was basically a shoot out, Texas squeaked by Rice and BYU and I do not quite understand why they are ranked. The Longhorns will be starting Case McCoy, unfortunately for Vegas that won't get it done! UCLA outright.Loss.
2 Units.
Auburn +3 The Tigers burned me last week, so they owe me. Clemson has played two in state FCS schools so far this year and struggled to get their offense going early. I don't get this spread, perhaps Im missing something, but I doubt it. Auburn has enough offense and defense to get the win, even on the road.Loss.
3 Units.
Tennessee +10 Last week was a test of sorts for the Vols and they passed, beating the Bearcats pretty soundly. The Gators have played and beaten FAU and UAB, im not impressed. 10 points is alot and I expect the Vols QB play to keep this game within 7.Push.
3 Units.
Houston -7 The Bulldogs play solid D at home, Im just not sure if the La. Tech offense can keep pace with Case Keenum. Should be a close game early but the Cougars will pull away in the 2nd half.Loss.
3 Units.
NFL Picks
Bears +7 Bears looked good last week against the falcons, on the road against New Orleans will be a test for them but the Saints are alot like the Falcons, powerful on offense and sketchy on defense. The Bears will no doubt come to play as Urlacher will be back for the game and playing for his mother who passed away this week. Look for his teammates to step up to get that done, Bears keep it within 7.Loss.
2 Units.
Bills -3 After a short week and a cross country trip the Raiders won't be focused to play the "lowly" Bills here. Lets face it, Buffalo isn't an easy place to play regardless. Fitzpatrick shredded the Chiefs last week and I see that trend continuing here. Look for big games from Johnson and Jackson as well.Push.
2 Units.
Ravens -6 The Titans are garbage. Chris Johnson is not in game shape and Mike Munchak doesn't know how to use him. The Titans will have no success on the ground forcing Hassellback to throw and Ed Reed will enjoy that. Ravens easily.Loss.
3 Units.
Eagles -3 The Georgia Dome will be rocking for Vick's homecoming, once again the Falcons defense will fail to stop the Philly offense. I know Matt Ryan is great in the Dome but Philly will make enough plays to make a statement to the rest of the NFC, Falcons fall to 0-2.Loss.
2 Units.
Bucs +3 Tampa played decent against a good Lions team last week and the Vikings are having some serious problems at QB. Mcnabb was ineffective to say the least last week and the young Bucs will be hungry for a win, I like Tampa and the points here!Win!
2 Units.

NCAA Week #2 Pick 'em
Short week, but it was still way too long. I had a tough time coming up with games this week thus the delay. Looking to improve on my 4-1 start last week, I Found 5 more money earners for this Saturday. I'm chasing the Chicago Kid after his 5-0 performance and have four others gunning for me in our yearly college football pick 'em contest. So without any more fanfare lets get to the money part.
Mississippi St. -6 Auburn got really lucky last week, squeaking by the Aggies and their freshman QB. Auburn struggles in home games during the daytime. Mullen's offense is way to much for the spotty Auburn D and the Bulldogs weakness from last year (pass defense) has had a year to hone their craft. Auburn will not have the success they had last week moving the ball on Saturday.Loss.
3 Units.
Hawaii +6 The Huskies squeaked by powerhouse Eastern Washington last week, I do not foresee that trend continuing here. Hawaii at home last week dusted off a decent Colorado squad. Moniz will have a big day against the Huskies defense who will spend alot of time on the field due to the fact Washington's offense will struggle to move the ball.Loss.
1 Unit
Stanford -21 I hate laying this kind of wood but............Duke lost to Richmond last week and now they have to get up for Andrew Luck? I'm not buying it! This game is going to get ugly quick, yes Stanford has a new coach, but he is cut from the same cloth as Harbaugh was. Stanford's running back by committee will be competing for carries so they will have success on the ground as well.
2 Units Win!
UCF -7 Biggest game of the year for the Knights. They seemed to have picked up where they left off last season after skull dragging Charleston Southern last week. BC on the other hand will be dragging themselves into Brighthouse field after a loss to the Dan Persa-less Northwestern last week, I doubt they will be stoked to play a C-USA squad who is clicking on all cylinders.Win!
2 Units
Ball St. +20 The Cardinals will come into Tampa with a chip on their shoulder after beating Indiana last week as a dog. USF coming off an emotional, marathon game last week could come out flat here. USF wins it but 20 will be too much in this spot. Loss.
1 Unit
There you have it, sorry for the late post but its money in the back nonetheless!

NFL 2011 Week #1 Picks
What we generally do............in this country, is I make a bet................and Vegas pays me for it! Had a decent week #1 in college action going 4-1 (thanks again Oregon) and picking up 9 units. Lets hope that translates in to more of Vegas hard earned $$ finding its way to my online superfund!
Packers -4 I looked at the opening weekend lines and I thought "what can I use you fah?" rhetorical question......money is the answer. Packers have all their weapons back and last time I looked in the dictionary the Saints got phonebooked by the Seattle Seahawks. The Saints haven't really made enough improvements to make me think they can stay within 4 points of the Superbowl champs at home. Win!
3 Units.
Steelers +3 Guy at work today asked me if I knew who John Lennon was, I responded of course with "yeah, he was the President before Lincoln." He said "you must be a gambler" I said you show me a point spread and I'll get you something out of it. Steelers on the road @ the Ravens. Same story as above, this game is always tight, so I take the team that's getting points. The principles of detection tell me that's the Steelers.Loss.
2 Units.
Bears +3 NFC title game team getting points at home against an over hyped Atlanta squad? Yes please. Cutler will have a chip on his shoulder in this one. Atlanta has too many holes on defense for me to buy them here and they will be more worried about the Bucs week #2 due to the division game and all. Bears outright.Win!
3 Units.
Rams +6 (and climbing) Are you a psychiatrist? Well, if I was I would ask why the Eagles are laying 6 on the road to Bradford & Company and I bet if I was Sigmund Freud himself I wouldn't get an answer. The public will pound Philly all year long due to the self imposed "Dream Team" moniker. Look out for St. Louis this year, they have some nice pieces and some progressing young talent.Loss.
2 Units.
Giants -3 Some people don't trust a handicapper with an immaculate record, I have an immaculate record. Go ahead Giants lose on September 11th to the Redskins, the press will chop you up and feed you to the poor. Redskins are home, but it won't help. This team is going to be bad. Loss.
2 Units.
Pats-7 You fellas from Providence? "Isn't any business of yours now is it?" You deliverin' money or somethin? Because if you are it will probably belong to me after the Pats continue their domination of the Fish on Monday night in South Beach.Win!
2 Units
Lions +1 I thought it was nice you asked me which hand I gamble with, as I remember Vegas isn't that sentimental. The Lions are looking pretty good. The edge I see hear is Detroit's D-line versus the Bucs O-line, win for Detroit. I'm a little concerned that Freeman won't have time to find his WR's. Stafford will be upright and can really throw the ball around, Megatron has a big day, so does my bank account. Win!
Enjoy! Short and to the point (that's what she said)

NCAA 2011 Week #1 Pick 'em
I'm back, freshly awoken from my usual hibernation. In time nonetheless to bring you some money, all but hand delivered. Wisconsin is currently up 20-0 against UNLV on the way to cover the 35 I laid on them. Thanks to Russell Wilson for the good start. Speaking of good starts I just returned home from a meeting with USF head coach Skip Holtz, got to meet several of the players alot of excitement in the air for the USF program, big game against Notre Dame on Saturday, so it's make or break for us already. Let us get to what we are all here for and that is my picks which bring profits!
South Florida +11 Sure. I will take your money Vegas, this line just keeps climbing...........and so does my bank account. USF knows what this game means, Coach Holtz seemed very excited about Saturdays contest. ND is getting all their usual preseason hype. How focused will they be on a South Florida squad in their house when they have the Wolverines waiting for them at The Big House next weekend? For a night game...........with Coach Hoke making his debut..........and the Wolverine alumni back in the fold. I don't envy you Brian Kelly. USF has great team speed, BJ Daniels has another year of experience under his belt and USF finally has some WR's for him to throw too. Look for alot of AJ Love and Stephen Bravo-Brown in this one..........I like the Bulls outright. Win!
4 Units.
Baylor +4 RG3 is back, and in the hunt for the Heisman, Baylor should not be taken lightly this year, TCU has lost alot especially with Andy Dalton and Andre Brown going to the NFL. TCU is breaking in some new pieces on both sides of the ball and I like Baylor and the points here.
2 Units. Win!
Utah St. +23 My how quickly we forget this is the same team who took the Sooners to the brink last year in week one. Last time I checked Cam Newton plays for the Panthers so there goes 85% of Auburn's usually inept offense. I think the Aggies will stay in this game, 23 is too big of a number for the Tigers to swallow while suffering from a National Championship hangover.
2 Units. Win!
Boise St. -3 I'm not doubting the Broncos anymore, they did lose two key WR's to the NFL but last time I looked in the dictionary they still had Kellen Moore. This team is too well coached, not afraid of the hostile environments and they rarely make mistakes. I get that Georgia is supposed to be improved, but I hear that every year. Andy Murray is a stud, but the Broncos need this game to beat away the BCS nay sayers. Boise by 6.
2 Units. Win!
Oregon -4 Ducks vs. Bayou Bengals................not in Death Valley mind you, but Jerry's house. LSU isn't as good when they do not have home field. The Jordan Jefferson fiasco will affect the Tigers here, not to mention they have to deal with the three headed monster of the Ducks running attack which will confuse their defense and I just don't think Jarret Lee and the Tigers can get it done here. Loss
1 Unit.
There you have it my friends, enjoy your Labor Day weekend and your profits, until next week.
2 Units. Win!

NFL Week #11
Lagging behind with my picks, but I have a big slate of action for Sunday so lets get to the money making shall we?
Eagles -3 The G'men come limping into the Linc for a road tilt. Simply put the Giants are too beat up on the O-line and the Eagles and Vick are on fire.
5 units. Win.
Ravens -11 Brian St. Pierre from? Exactly who is this guy. I don't like laying this many points but I don't know how the Panthers will score, this team is bad. Ravens need a win to keep a leg up on Pittsburgh.
4 units. Win.
Packers -3 This was a close game in Lambeau, not so much this time. The Packers are getting healthy and coming off a bye. The Vikings are done and will put on a show early but will fold up shop in the second half.
4 units. Win.
Bills +6 Bills are fresh off a win and the Bengals have stopped playing football. I like the Bills to keep this one within a FG.
2 units. Win.
Browns +2 This is the first team that Colt Mccoy has faced that wasn't in the playoffs last season. I like Mccoy to get it done against the Jags using Hillis and defense for the outright win.
3 units. Loss.
Seahawks +12 The Seahawks are iffy on the road, but Brees has had turnover issues this year. The Saints get Reggie Bush back this week but this is just too many points Seahawks keep it within 12.
2 units. Loss.
Falcons -3 I rarely bet on my team, but if Atlanta wants to prove that they are an upper crust squad they need to put away the upstart Rams on the road. Ryan isn't the best on the the road but he is good in a dome, I like the Falcons to cover.
2 units. Win.
There you have it, 6 money makers to cash out on enjoy. I should have my picks up on Thursday next week, been really busy this week, so bare with me money fans.

Week #8 NFL Pick 'em
Pretty solid Sunday last week as I went 4-1, those bums from San Fran cost me a perfect day. So I am sitting at 16-19-1, time for me to move back into the black. Slim pickings this Sunday, not much at all that interested me, everything will be a one unit play this weekend. Here is what I have:
Bills +8 Ryan Fitzpatrick is the second rated passer in the NFL that's what kind of season it has been this far. They have put up some serious points against some good teams with the Harvard alum behind center. The Chiefs can score too, their running game has been successful and Cassel has been throwing the ball well. The Chiefs secondary is young and susceptible to the pass so this game could be a shoot out but I think Buffalo and the points is the right side.
Win.
Vikings +6 The Vikings will lose this game but they are good enough to cover the 6. Moss has been supplying all the info on the Pats defense to Childress, will it help? Maybe. The Pats just aren't the potent offense they used to be and their defense is young but getting better. The Vikings defense will keep them in this game, lets just hop Favre doesn't throw it away. Loss.
Packers +6 The Pack is really beat up and weak against the run but they do have WR's and a QB who can score at any moment. The Jets will win this game but the Pack has the talent to stay with them. Win.
Texans +6 The Texans are built to beat the Colts as they did at home in week #1, they like Jacksonville always play the Colts tough and the Colts have some missing pieces on defense and their running back core is really beat up. Colts will squeak this game out with a late FG and we will cover. Loss.
Rams -3 The Rams are solid at home and the Panthers are not very good, the Moore to Gettis connection doesn't scare me. The Rams have covered alot for me this year and I don't see them stumbling here as a they are looking to get back to .500 on the year. Bradford will take out his displeasure of wearing a Mizzou jersey on the Panthers, hello money! Win.
There you have it enjoy!

NFL Week #5 Against the Spread Picks
My weekend started off good with a Nebraska cover and 3 more units added to my bank account so that is good times. Lets hope the trend continues into Sunday. There isn't much I am excited about in the NFL this weekend so we will have some small plays this week.
Broncos +7 A good sports bettor always takes into a count some off the field trends, professional sports teams do hit flat spots at certain points in the season after winning a big game against or losing to a rival. I think that is the spot the Ravens are in right here, Flacco beat the hated Steelers last Sunday on a late TD points putting Baltimore in the drivers seat in the AFC North. The Ravens will win this contest but I don't know how thrilled they will be in playing the .500 Broncos and neck beard. Meanwhile Kyle Orton is leading the NFL best pass offense into the Ravens nest.
1 unit.
Bills Pick The Jags just won the biggest game of their season against the rival Colts, as a reward Jack Del Rio rewarded his troops with a trip to Buffalo! Yeaaaaaaaah! This game should be deathly boring, I do like the Bills to pull out the win though. Fitzpatrick seems to work within the Bills "offense" and CJ Spiller is starting to get going. The Jags aren't going to want to show up for this game and Del Rio hates preparing for opponents not in his division.
1 unit.
Rams +3 I think the wrong team is favored here, the Lions have been playing well and staying in games but I don't know if they are quite ready to be favored. Rams are coming in at 2-2 and on a two game winning streak, so they might be feeling a little disrespected. Bradford and Clayton seem to be working well and Stephen Jackson is his usual self. Also, the Rams defense is pretty stingy, I think they can stay in this contest.
1 unit.
Packers -3 Redskins just won a very important game at Philly, couple that with the fact the Redskins also don not like to cover at home. Rogers needs a big game as the powers that be have been talking about how the Packers maybe weren't the right pick for the Superbowl. I don't know how the Redskins will defend against Green Bay's passing attack, both teams are less than stellar on the ground and i have to give the nod to the Packers defense.
2 units.
Falcons -3 I am assuming that Seneca Wallace will be the QB this week again. Well I have bad news for you Mr. I hate the Blanket. The Falcons will stop your run game and force you to throw, this will not work out to well as you will be intercepted and the ball will be returned to it's rightful place which is inside of your end zone. The Browns beat the Bengals last week but the Falcons are a different animal altogether, I know Matt Ryan struggles outside of a dime but I think the 49ers put a scare into Atlanta last week and they should get it back on track offensively here.
3 units.

NCAA Week #6 Picks
Had an abysmal Saturday last week going 2-4 for the season I am now 9-11-2. I get back above .500 this weekend. Here are my picks:
Nebraska -11 Battle of Big 12 undefeated, both teams are 4-0 KSU will be at home for this contest. I don't like laying this many points on a Thursday night road favorite but I think that Nebraska's defense will dictate this game. They will focus on stopping Daniel Thomas and force K-State to throw on them, which the Cornhuskers have Prince Amakumura and Crick to defend the pass. K State struggled against a UCF squad at home and while UCF has a solid defense they aren't on par with Nebraska. The Huskers had a close game last weekend, but I figure that was a look ahead affect for them.
3 units. Win.
Oregon -36 I am going to be a road warrior this weekend, I'm taking the Ducks here against the punchless Wazzou Cougars. The Ducks proved they were for real last Saturday by beating Stanford and taking my money. They will let me have it back with interest after this game. Oregon should be covering by halftime.
1 unit. Loss.
Arkansas -6 An SWC rivalry renewed. I wonder if they are going to bring this conference back at some point along with power houses like Tulane, Rice, Houston and SMU. Texas A&M is too sketchy for me right now on both sides of the ball. Arkansas is the second best team in the SEC and I am wondering about Jerrod Johnson's confidence and his teams conference in him. A&M is just to turnover prone to stay in this contest I feel.
2 units. Win.
Alabama -7 Here I go taking another SEC team on the road. The Tide beat their toughest opponent on their schedule in Fayetteville. South Carolina is a solid squad, but I think the Tide will stack the box and put pressure on Garcia to force him into some bad decisions, this of course after they shut down the Lattimore and the running game. We will see more of Ingram and Richardson wearing the stout Gamecocks defense out allowing McElroy to move the chains on 3rd and short.
4 units. Loss.
Notre Dame -6 Keeping road warrior weekend in tact I am taking the Irish here against and underachieving Pitt team. Dion Lewis is out and Sunseri just can't make enough plays and his best WR Johnathan Baldwin hates catching his passes. ND took care of BC last week, while BC is not much of an offensive threat, they are a pretty good defensive squad. ND gets it done here.
2 units. Win.
There we have it, lets hope for better results this weekend. I haven't started my NFL action yet but at first glance there isn't much that jumped off the page at me. Other games that look pretty enticing for a small play are Tennessee +11 and Stanford -10 . Good luck, I should have my NFL picks up tomorrow night.

NFL Week #4 Free Money Give Away!!
Alright decent Sunday last Sunday, I went 4-2 ATS bringing me to 9-7 for the young season. College and NFL combined I am 16-14-2. Vegas is continuing to hot air balloon the public, all the Microfinance companies are probably getting hit up for short term loans as the casual bettor is literally losing his shirt. Make sure that you tune in tonight to our Vegas Takedown Show tonight at 9PM @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory become a fan of the show and most importantly LISTEN to the show, call in tell us what you think about our picks and how much you like winning money from the comforts of your couch while the wife is out shopping. Here is what I have for Sunday's NFL action.
Bengals -3 Cincy is not looking sharp on offense, Palmer isn't doing anything on offense. We are due for a big game from Ocho-cinco and T.O. Hopefully this is the week where that happens. The Bengals squeaked out a win in Carolina, yeah I know Claussen played, however the Panthers D is solid and doesn't get much credit because of their 0-3 record. Delhomme will be back so the Iowa State cover buster won't be playing. The Bengals defense should guide us to the money lane here.
1 unit. Loss.
Rams +2 Seahawks away from home are a dumpster fire. Rams are undervalued, Bradford is the exception to the rookie rule. Both teams have some work to do on defense but I think the Rams will have a slight edge here. The Seahawks got lucky with 14 points from two kickoff returns from Leon Washington. I think the wrong team is favored here and I will always take advantage of any gift Vegas attempts to slide by the average joe.
2 units. Win.
Redskins +6 I don't quite get his line its about 2 points too high. I guess the reason for that would be because Vick is the player of the month and also due to the fact that he lit up two secondary's ranked near the bottom of the league in pass defense. Hopefully the Philly faithful give Mcnabb a warm welcome that way we can remove the money from the sweaty palms of Vegas. Mcnabb will no doubt have a chip on his shoulder coming back home to a team that basically discarded him like a piece of used furniture. The Redskins will be playing hard to help their new signal caller get a big win. I know the Eagles have the edge in weaponry with Jackson, Maclin and Mccoy, but lets dig a little deeper. Mcnabb has played against this defense for a long time, if anyone knows the holes in the Eagles D its Mcnabb, plus we are getting 6 points? Me likey!
2 units.Win.
Bears +4 Hmmmm...........why do I have a feeling that I am walking into a trap here. Hell with it I'm taking the Bears and the points. Bears are rolling right now beating the Cowgirls and the Packers in consecutive weeks. Cutler seems to have found his niche under the Martz system. The Bears defense has looked pretty solid. Manning isn't Aaron Rodgers and doesn't really have the weapons on offense that Cutler does. The Bears will be zeroing in on Hakeem Nicks and they should also be able to squash the run. The Bears are believing in themselves Forte is having a bounce back year in his new rule and Hester and Knox seem to be relishing their new offense. Also Greg Olsen has come alive of late. Chicago goes to 4-0 and the G'men are headed for a world of hurt.
1 unit. Loss.
Dolphins +2 Joe Robbie/ Landshark/ Sun Life stadium has been a House of Horrors for Brady and company when they come down to Miami. Dolphins are still underrated even though they beat the Vikings and Bills, on the road, which are both tough places to play. The Pats defense looks pretty bad as Ryan Fitzpatrick sliced and diced them in a shootout in Foxboro last week. The Dolphins defense is pretty good, that being said this should be a high scoring game. Chad Henne loves him some Brandon Marshall and both should have a huge game against a pedestrian Pats secondary. Ronnie Brown will be doing his usual Wildcat action back there keeping Henne in 3rd and short, Dolphins in a covered win.
3 units. Loss.
Panthers +14 I'm taking this game simply on a trend, when the Super Bowl champs lose the week prior they struggle the next week to cover. Also the Saints are 2-7 ATS under Payton as favorites of 10 or more. Write it down. Drew Brees is hurt and will be wearing a brace on his left knee. The Panthers won't have to account for Reggie Bush either. Like I said earlier the Panthers defense is pretty good. Look for the Panthers to copy the Falcons game plan with Williams and Stewart pounding away against the Saints less than stellar run stop unit, this will chew up clock and keep Brees on the sideline. 14 points here is too much for a divisional game and the road team has won 9 of the last 13 games in this series. How copy?
1 unit. Win.
Jaguars +8 The Jags are built to play one team and that is the Colts. The Jags will be bringing it this game as this is the game they look forward to playing. If you have been following my blog that last few seasons you will notice that I always take the dog and the points in this game because out of the last 16 games these two teams have played only twice has the difference been more than 8 points, I'll let you do the math on this one. The Colts were sleep walking through their game with Denver so I doubt they will be clicking their heels to go play the hapless Jags on the road. The Colts struggle to run the ball and I think the Jags will be able to stay in this game, Colts win by 5.
1 unit. Win.
There it is fellow Game Theorists, enjoy the money. I know I had some light plays this week but unless a game really excites me I'm not going to drop a car payment on it. Don't forget to tune in tonight at 9PM and listen to the show @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory

There it is fellow Game Theorists, enjoy the money. I know I had some light plays this week but unless a game really excites me I'm not going to drop a car payment on it. Don't forget to tune in tonight at 9PM and listen to the show @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory

NCAA Week #5 ATS Picks
Alright people, the traffic is getting heavy on my blog so the public must be waiting for me to make them some more money. I went 3-2 ATS last week, bringing me too 7-7-2 on the season. Still nowhere near where I want to be. Don't forget to listen to our show tonight at www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory it will be on air at 11PM also become a fan of the show on Facebook and you can listen to the show as you are browsing my picks thanks to the widget I added. I really need a solid weekend and there isn't a whole lot to pick from. So here we go on another quest to capture more of that Vegas cash.
N.C. State +4 I guess no one is buying the Wolfpack yet, but I am liking them at home plus I get 4 points...........sweet. VT has no doubt bounced back from their early season stumble. The Wolfpack has been playing some decent defense, albeit they gave up 28 points to GT last week on the road, but how often do they see that style of offense. Tom O'brien has NC State heading in the right direction. Russell Wilson is a Drew Brees style quarterback and freshman running back Mufasa Green looks pretty good running and catching balls out of the backfield. So I hope the Wolfpack can continue their winning ways and win us some cash here!
2 units. Loss.
UTEP-15 Using the same logic as last week, the Lobos got midget tossed by an 0-3 UNLV team last Saturday losing by 35 points. The Miners can score points, the Lobos however have lost their last 4 games by an average of 46 points per game. Even though the Miners are on the road that stat has to make me feel comfortable with laying the 15. New Mexico's QB is also out for this game, so hopefully their back up is just as bad!
1 unit. Win.
Texas Tech -7 The Red Raiders have had two weeks to prepare for this contest, Big Game Tommy needs to get this win as he team is currently 2-1 and would like to stay relevant in the Big 12 especially with Texas losing last week. The Cyclones Austin Arnaud is questionable with a shoulder injury so who knows how effective he will be. I think Tech has the weapons to win this game comfortably, lets hope I am right.
1 unit. Loss.
Georgia -5 Both games I lost last week were from taking SEC dogs on the road, too bad Colorado isn't an SEC team. I don't quite understand this line, is Ralphie suiting up for this game? Lets not forget this is the same UGA team that played Arkansas and SC tough without AJ Greene who just so happens to make his return this Saturday just in time to make us some money. Mark Richt desperately needs this win, lets see if the Dogs can deliver.
1 unit. Loss.
Stanford +7 This is my favorite game of the week. Oregon is a finesse offense and Stanford is a smashmouth physical team. The Ducks aren't cut out to play that kind of game. Harbaugh is a no holds barred coach who will not take his foot off the gas. Stanford just like Oregon has a ton of weapons on offense and replacing Gerhart in the backfield has seemed to be a problem as the Cardinal has several backs who each have rushed for over 100 yards. I know that Autzen Stadium is a tough place to play and if I was a Stanford WR I wouldn't catch one ball because I would be drooling over the Ducks cheerleaders the whole game, but I'm not playing. I think the 7 is too much for the Ducks to handle in this spot. Stanford will wear them down.
4 units. Loss.
Another game I like but didn't put up is Temple -5 @ Army, keep an eye on that game. Until that day my friends, enjoy the money. Vegas..............come at me bro. Listen to the show tonight and I should have my NFL picks up by tonight.

NFL Week #12 Free Money Report
Not the best of Sundays last week, I went 7-6 but hit most of my multi-unit plays. I guess Vegas isn't giving out their usual pre black Friday freebies. I guess the economy is even affecting the 7 guys that generate these lines. The only comfortable cover I had was the Vikings pounding the Seahawks, everything else was alot of sighing and refresh button. That's OK, Vegas can only satisfy me with nickel and dime positive units for so long. I need one of my patented monster weeks to send them a message that I don't appreciate them forsaking all of us degenerate gamblers who look forward to our late November handouts. Remember Vegas, easy way or hard way, either way I take your money. Write it down. Without further delay here are my NFL picks for this week:
Giants -7 (Thanksgiving Special) The Broncos are gassed, their veteran defense is beat up and Kyle Orton's ankle is in a bad way, much like Denver will be here. The Giants got a much needed win over a Falcons squad that isn't very good. Eli gained some much needed confidence as he torched Atlanta's abysmal secondary throwing to his vast array of talented WR's (must be nice to have a vast array of talented WR's and not have say.............Micheal "Hands of Stone" Jenkins). I don't think the Broncos will have much success running the ball in this contest which will force Orton to move the chains on his own, which on a bum ankle I think that might be a risky proposition, but when Chris Simms is your back-up I would rather roll Orton out in a wheel chair than rely on Simms to convert third downs. The Giants should be able to pound the ball and Eli will have time to throw as the Broncos cracks on D are starting to show. 2 units.Loss.
***********************PICK CHANGE ALERT, TAKING TEXANS +4********************
Texans +4 Funny the Texans were 9 point dogs 2 weeks ago. The Texans can't beat the Colts (1-14 all time and they are now 4-12 versus the Titans). The Texans also had a huge letdown on their Monday night game, which I profited from! The Colts survived a dust-up with the Ravens and Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis did nothing in that game because they were shut down by Gaither and Oher. So they should have their ears pinned back and be coming after Schaub with reckless abandon. This should be a tight game, 1 more point on this spread and I would have taken the Texans. I just think this is a bad spot for them here. Texans are 1-3-1 ATS at home this year, but 5-1 ATS versus the colts in their last 6, meanwhile the Colts are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games. I think that the Colts will change some things up for this game given the proximity of their last game. I also have to question both teams ability to run the ball, Addai needs to get it going here, Donald Brown should be good to go for this game too, lets hope he chips in as well. 1 unit.Loss.
Browns +14 The Bengals have no business laying 14 points to anyone, they just got waxed by Gradkowski and the Raiders, how embarrassing. Take away the beat down of the Bears and the Bengals haven't won by 14 all year, that includes a 3 point win against the Browns in Week #4 and losing to the Raiders doesn't tell me you have improved. It is also a divisional rivalry game between two teams that know and hate each other. Don't expect Brady Quinn to go berserk again and throw the ball all over the field as the Lions have an atrocious pass defense, Quinn will be scared to throw on Johnathan Joseph and Leon Hall so he will most likely revert to his short junk. I was not pleased with the Browns defense last week, it's like the offense and defense both did 180's last week, lets hope the usual Browns defense shows up for this game. 3 units Win.
Redskins +10 Eagles as big favorites? Injuries to Westbrook? Hanson out? Samuels and Sheldon Brown hurt? Andy Reid as coach? Hello Money!! The Redskins have been playing a little better since the arrival of the Bingo caller extraordinaire. Campbell has been putting up solid numbers and hasn't turned the ball over. Washington has a solid defense and will be able to handle Jackson and Maclin with their pass coverage as well as Celek. Cartwright gets the start and their should be no drop-off at the RB position for the Skins as he is a good pass catcher out of the backfield. Randle-El and Moss will get the short passes as the Redskins move the ball. Philly will win this game but 10 points for a team with alot of injuries against a division foe is way too much to ask. 5 units.Win.
Dolphins -3 Miami really surprised me last week as they boat raced the Panthers sans Ronnie Brown, good for them and bad for my account as I took a large beating off that game. That's OK because the Dolphins will pay me back this week. I expected the Bills to get blown out last week with Jauron hitting the bricks, but Fewell had them in that contest against a lazy Jacksonville team. Buffalo is another team that has been decimated by injuries, Fitzpatrick had a good game last week but the Jags pass rush is nothing to write home about. Taylor and Porter will be getting after him here. The Bills running game is also non-existent as Lynch is garbage but they continue to go to him. Miami is stout against the rush so Jackson won't be able to do much either. Henne had success against a solid Panthers secondary and that should carry over to this contest. Lets hope Ricky has another career day here. 3 units.Loss.
Seahawks -3 If Bulger was starting this game I would be taking the Rams, but instead we will have Kyle Boller. I will pause while you look at Boller's stats....................................Impressive no? Seattle is a desperate team Burleson and TJ haven't caught a ball in a while, Forsett should have a big game as I foresee the Rams defense sending lots of time on the field due to Boller's ineptness. Hasselbeck should have a quality day as the Rams are awful against the pass. As long as Steven Jackson doesn't run wild we should win this one going away. 2 units.Win.
Panthers +3 John Fox needs to run the ball with Williams and Stewart, use your weapons John and run at the Jenkins-less Jets. Smith will be taken out of this game by Revis, so Delhomme will have to settle for some short passes. If the Panthers use the running game effectively they should be able to move the chains. Sanchez will have no shot against a solid secondary like the Panthers have. Carolina is better against the rush than the Patriots so they should have success in stopping Jones and Greene. The Jets are done and will probably be flat after hanging around in the Pats game only to see it slip away. Carolina on the other hand needs a win to keep Wildcard hopes alive. 2 units.Loss.
49ers -3 The Jags are a lazy team and Del Rio must have went to the Norv Turner/ Ron Turner school of game planning. Rashean Mathis is out for this game and Jacksonville's pass defense is awful, Crabtree and Davis should have nice days. Smith has some problems with protection but the Jags don't like sacking the QB anyway so it won't matter. The 49ers run defense has been spotty lately but I think it is a result of their secondary getting beat worse than Jimmy Claussen in a bar fight. Hopefully they can hold MJD down and force Garrard to throw on them, but knowing Del Rio he probably won't even start MJD and say it was his "strategy". 3 units.Win.
Chiefs +14 KC is 5-1 ATS in its last 6, 7-3 ATS last 10 on the road. They were blown out by the Chargers a few weeks ago but I think that was a fluke. Cassell likes to score late touchdowns to cover and apparently not having Bowe didn't faze him as he torched the Steelers secondary last week. These two teams hate each other and the Chiefs got rid of homophobic LJ and gave the ball to Jamaal Charles, who will have success against the Chargers injury ridden front. Chambers will be looking to burn his former employers as well. The Chargers secondary has been patchwork this season as well, so Lance Long will probably do his best Wes Welker imitation and get in the mix as well. 1 unit.Loss.
Saints -3 It pains me to write that but sometimes you have to face the facts. The public is all over the Patriots and I would be to, however; the Saints get Sedrick Ellis back as well as Jabarri Greer this week. New England will not be able to run the ball. This will force Brady to do it all and Moss will be taken out of the game by Greer. So now the Saints will have to focus on Faulk and Welker. I just don't trust the Pats defense to stop Brees, he just has too many weapons and Bush will be back for this contest as well. 2 units.Win.
Vikings -11 This game could get ugly quick. The Bears are a train wreck, Forte will have no running lanes and the Bears WR's lack the experience to go against a solid secondary with Jared Allen chasing after Cutler. Antoine Winfield will be back for this game and looking to catch some passes thrown by Jay Cutler. This game could be the swan song for Lovie as his days are already numbered. Maybe the Bears should try Charles Tillman at WR, without him the Bears would probably be 0-10. 2 units.Win.
Season Record 61-31-1
There we have it 11 games for Sunday I might add one or two more games but we will see I wasn't really that high on any of these spreads this Sunday as you can tell by the absence of 4 and 5 unit plays ( well I do have one 5 unit play ). Lets hope for a nice Sunday cash flow to offset the Black Friday spending, see you at the cash cage.
Giants -7 (Thanksgiving Special) The Broncos are gassed, their veteran defense is beat up and Kyle Orton's ankle is in a bad way, much like Denver will be here. The Giants got a much needed win over a Falcons squad that isn't very good. Weekend Recap NCAA Week 12 & NFL Week 11
First lets start out by letting the readers know that it is once again time for Yahoo! College Bowl Pick 'em. For those of you who would like to compete against The Blanket during the bowl season feel free to join, it is a public league on Yahoo! under the name "Potassium Exporters" (Group ID #1292). I will see you there! Anyone dare try and take my trophy from me??! Now on to the details of this weekend. I had a decent Saturday, I went 7-3 on posted action, then I had a late trigger pull on Oregon St & Oregon ML, both wins. 9-3 for my Saturday, I'll take it. However, I am not happy that I passed on UCF -21 and UNC +4, I knew I should have taken those games. I used the reverse psychology trend to snap me out of my funk, maybe it worked or maybe the teams I played on just did what they were supposed to do. I would also like to talk about how much Ohio St stinks, not only did you fail to cover the 12 against Michigan, you couldn't even score against them, truly pathetic. Forcier gave you 7 points, 4 interceptions and all you could muster against them was 21 points? What a joke. Good luck bringing that rag tag act into the Colosseum against the Ducks. What else..................Oh yeah...........bye bye coach Front Butt, I wasn't surprised to see ND go down at all. I called it matter 'o fact. I guess I fail to see the lure of ND, OK they were awesome when dinosaurs roamed the earth, who cares now. Claussen is an over-rated ESPN darling who will suffer the same fate as Quinn, sorry but Claussen is neither accurate or crisp with his throws. I also hope Tebow enjoys his 5th round selection, if he goes that high I might be surprised to tell you the truth. Why doesn't Zac Robinson get any credit? Oh that's right his coach isn't Urban Meyer or Front Butt. Well on to the NFL, where I struggled mightily I went .500 with the Titans +5 tonight. Disgusting. I took a beating yesterday in the 4PM games as well. However, after getting very frustrated and collecting my winnings of the Chargers cover I took all the money in my account and divided it by 3, put 1/3 on the Eagles -3, another 1/3 on the Eagles ML @ -170, and the last 1/3 on the Prop Bet Alternate line that had the Eagles +3.5 at -200. Me Likey!!!! Now my account is back up to acceptable levels at 30 units (that's my fighting weight). The Steelers crapped their pants and ruined my Sweetheart teaser I had them +2, thanks alot. Steelers have no business going to the playoffs and I hope they fail to make it, with that "vaunted Dick Lebaeu defense" the lowly Chiefs should not be throwing the ball all over the yard on you, unacceptable. Maybe you guys might wanna take each game seriously, nobody gives a crap that you are the Steelers and they are going to lay down for you. Keep it up and at the end of the season I call up Mike Tomlin and say "Losses, How many Yinz got??" Funsticks. I still have no idea who will be playing the Vikings in the Superbowl this year, I thought maybe the Bengals, but they proved last night they are a fraud. Could you imagine a Superbowl between the Bengals and the Saints, holy crap, talk about two annoying fan bases. How many times would the English language be butchered with "Who Dey?" and "Who Dat?". I'm not sold on the Colts, teams are catching on the Manning. Anyone for the Ravens or Patriots coming out of the AFC to play Favre in Miami? Oh yeah, before I go any feedback on my posting of the prop bets/ live dogs/sweetheart teasers? Love it? Hate it? What is he talking about? I will keep posting it on Sunday mornings and keep it up until the end of the 4 o'clock games. It's some what of an eye sore so I take it down, For those of you concerned with how I did, I lost my Sweetheart Teaser by 1 point (Thanks Steelers) I won 2 of the three prop bets and lost on 1 live dog (Browns).

NFL Week #11 Free Money Report
Need some money, Vegas tends to give out some freebies the week before Black Friday, maybe they will be generous considering they restocked their vaults with our money last weekend. The Blanket is not above taking handouts folks, cash is cash. Lets see what we have.
Panthers -3 Panthers have covered 4 of their last 5, however only 1 of those has been at home. I like going with the home team on these week night games. Ronnie Brown is out for the Dolphins, so its bye bye Wildcat and now Henne has to go against one of the leagues best secondaries on the road on a short week. Peppers has been great so far this year and should give Miami plenty of problems. John Beason is also a force at his LB position. Miami has a good run stop unit, but Williams and Stewart have been on a tear as of late. The Panthers seem to be a team on a mission as of late and they will be tied for second in the NFC South at the end of Sunday because the Falcons will lose to the Giants. Why you ask? Because the Falcons suck, that's why. Delhomme has been playing decent as well lately too and Miami will have to rely on a rookie corner to cover Steve Smith, doesn't sound like too much fun. 5 units. Loss. (Awesome!!)
Browns +4 Yup, I just wrote that. I will recall a recent conversation I had with Billy Vegas. He was unhappy with the Bears offense having trouble scoring on the Browns as they had to settle for several field goals in the early going. The Browns have a great defense, the problem is their offense is so bad they are on the field way too much. The Lions are punch less on defense, ranking near the bottom against the run and the pass. Stafford is still not 100% and the Browns gave the Ravens all kinds of problems on Monday night. The Ravens got only 9 points against the Browns D Monday night (not including the pick 6). Quinn threw 2 picks Monday night and will continue to throw the short crap, bubble screens, jailbreak screens, smoke screens, slip screens, starscream (j/k he is a decepticon). Lewis and company should have success on the ground here so Quinns 5 yard passes will be enough to move the chains here. I just don't think the Lions should be laying points to anyone. The Lions could also come out flat as they put alot into the Vikings game last week, it will be difficult for them to show up for the Browns. 2 units.Win.
Jags -9 The only reason I am taking this game is because the Bills fired Dick Jauron, mid-week. Not good. The Bills will be confused as everyone scrambles to learn their new jobs and come up with a game plan. Owens is doing his usual woe is me routine, and the Bills also have have a QB controversy. Furthermore the Bills cannot stop the run, just ask Chris Johnson. MJD will have a massive day and will have no problems running wild. The Jags are looking to keep pace with the Texans for a possible wildcard berth. The Jags hate covering but that is what the trends say, I am fading trends this week and going with my gut. I am making a small play on this game because I feel the 9 points is a bit much. 1 unit. Loss.
Colts Pick This looks to be the free gift from Vegas I was talking about. Manning seems to have figured it out as he was not sharp against the last three teams he has faced. Sad fact is that the Colts own the Ravens. The Ravens have some injuries on defense and I don't like their beleaguered secondary to stop Manning either. Freeney and Mathis will be neutralized in this game as Gaither and Oher are outstanding tackles, but Flacco is not Tom Brady. Ray Rice should be productive here. The Colts have a very talented secondary and should be able to handle Baltimore's WR's with little problems. So it boils down to Manning versus the Ravens CB's and Safeties and Ray Rice versus the Colts D-line and LB's. T Sizzle is out for this game thanks to Brady Quinn taking a cheap shot on him. I also think that Trevor Pryce is a little banged up for this contest. 5 units. Win.
Steelers -10 I expect a pissed off Steelers squad to show up in this game. The Steelers really need this game to stay in the Wildcard fight as it looks like they will be unable to catch the Bengals after a season sweep. The Steelers also have the Ravens nipping at their heels. The Chiefs lost Dwanye Bowe for 4 games, ouch. Chambers is too old and Lance Long is not the Wes Welker people are trying to make him into. Cassell will struggle in this game, the Steelers cannot be run on so Jamaal Charles will have a tough day on the ground. The Steelers have not been covering this year but as I said before they really need this game and should not be messing around with the lowly Chiefs. Rothlisberger has too many weapons for KC to account for, if only Matt Cassell had that problem. Troy Polamalu should be playing in this game, lets hope their secondary makes some plays. 2 units. Loss.
Vikings -11 I expect the Seahawks will just mail this one in as their season is all but over. Forsett will not be able to run against the Williams Wall and Winfield will be back for the Vikings so Burleson might go another game without making a catch. The Seahawks run stop has been doing anything but that, now they have to face the premier back in the NFL. Peterson should have a huge day here. Matt Hassellbeck has no pass protection even with Locklear returning the Cards got to him several times. How do you think Jared Allen will fare? Good? How do you think our accounts will fare? Even better! 3 units.Win.
Redskins +11 Cowboys looked like dogshit last week, and could be doubting themselves here. The Redskins took apart a Broncos team that is coming back down to earth. Romo has no help, Williams is garbage and Austin will be covered tightly as the Redskins have a solid secondary. Who does that leave? Crayton? hahahahah!! Maybe Whitten. Barber is still banged up and Romo has protection problems with Columbo going down with a broken fibula. Mike Jenkins and Ken Hamlin also got nicked up last week so they could be iffy. Haynesworth is also iffy for this game. I am siding with the Redskins here due to the fact that this division game and is usually tightly contested. 1 unit.Win.
Buccaneers +11 The Saints have some injuries piling up, they should show here as Bulger had a solid day against them last week. If Freeman can protect the football this game could end up being very close. The Bucs and Saints flat out do not care for one another. The Saints secondary is really banged Sharper and Greer are among them and Brees has not exactly been lighting it up lately either. Freeman at home should be able to keep the Bucs close, they are a dangerous team right now and will fight the whole game. 1 unit.Loss.
Cardinals -9 Looks like future HOF'er Kurt Warner is getting healthy, he has been looking alot better as of late and could be benefiting from a run game that has vastly improved. The Cardinals run stop unit has been taking on water as of late so they really need to concentrate on stopping Steven Jackson, who just refuses to lay down and quit. If they load the box for Jackson the secondary for the Cards is good enough to shut down the passing game. Rodgers-Cromartie held Burelson to zero catches last Sunday, good times. The Cards have a tendency to beat up on the Rams, and it should continue here. I don't think Kurt Warner is yet satisfied with pummeling the team that left him for dead. 3 units.Loss.
Jets +11 If the Pats played anyone else but the Colts prior to this game I would take them as The Hoodie and Brady never lose two games in a row. The Pats tend to shit their pants after playing the Colts. The Jets desperately need this game and should keep it close, but will fall short in the end. The Pats D is suspect right now and the Hoodie knows it. The Jets will focus on slowing down Moss and Welker in this contest as the Pats have not had much of a running game to speak of lately. 1 unit. Loss.
Bengals -10 Any doubters left on the Bengals? Didn't think so. Russel Un-athletic has been benched in favor of Charlie Frye, good luck with that against the Bengals bracket coverage. Cincy will be without Benson for a while, this resulted in them signing shit bag Larry Johnson. The Raiders will have no success running the ball as Al Davis refuses to use Bush and Fargas, opting to go with 1st round bust Mcfadden. Good luck with that. Palmer has struggled throwing the ball sans the Bears contest, but I think turnovers will show here for the Raiders and the Bengals will capitalize on them. 1 unit.Loss.
Chargers -6 No spread on this game due to Kyle Orton's ankle problems. Why is Chris Simms employed? He is garbage I think he completed 3 passes for 11 yards in the ass beating they took at the hands of the Redskins. The Broncos are gassed and are beginning their much anticipated free fall. Phillip Rivers is unstoppable and LT actually had some running lanes last week and had two rushing touchdowns and 97 yards. Rivers should have another big day here as the wheels have come off Denver's bandwagon. 3 units.Win.
Eagles -3 How is Andy Reid still employed? RUN THE BALL!!!!! It's not that difficult. The Eagles are missing Westbrook who had yet another concussion, sad for him as he has been a quality player for years. Mcnabb has young studs Celek, McCoy, Maclan, and Jackson. How are the Bears going to possibly cover them? The offensive line for the Bears is garbage as is the play calling. Cutler has no WR's to throw to, Olsen is his only consistent option. I don't trust Cutler against the Eagles secondary, Samuels and Brown are notorious route jumpers and will be gambling against an inexperienced WR corps looking to intercept the risk taking Cutler. The Bears won't have much success running against the Eagles and conversely the Bears have no pass rush to speak of, this gives McNabb plenty of time to throw the ball 80 times in this contest. 3 units.Win.
Titans +5 This should be an exciting Monday night game. Two young teams on the rise. The Texans are a solid team but I am not sure if they are ready to be laying 5 points in this spot. Chris Johnson is unstoppable and the Texans are middle of the pack against the run. The Texans have no running game to speak of and that will force Schaub to throw the ball to move the chains and he is missing Owen Daniels his favorite target. The Titans have bolstered their secondary with the insertion of Rod Hood. The Texans on the other hand have a pedestrian secondary and VY will not be hesitant to throw against them. Add that up with his ability to scramble and Chris Johnson racking up yardage. I like the 5 points here. 5 units.Win.
Season Record 55-26-1
There you go a record high 14 games from the Blanket, I am still looking to get the rest of my cash back from Vegas and this is the week to do it! Pass go and collect more than $200!!
