No fancy write ups here, the bowl games that I do play will all be small plays in the range of half unit to one unit. One of the key aspects when placing a bet on a team in a bowl game is you have to ask, which one of these teams actually wants to be here? Case in point the Utah vs. Alabama a couple of seasons ago. Its always hard to tell if a team has kept up its preparation for game time. So I will give you a guide on who I think is the better sid ein each bowl game.
New Mexico Bowl
UTEP +12 Both teams are garbage, but this is just too many points.
Humanitarian Bowl
Northern Illinois -1 Huskies will be looking to rebound after being embarrased in the MAC championship game.
New Orleans Bowl
Troy -2 The Trojans can score points quickly, the Bobcats were blown out by Kent State in their last game, really?
St. Petersburg Bowl
L'ville -3 Too much defense for Southern Miss.
Las Vegas Bowl
Boise St -17 Utah has been exposed, Boise State won't fold up shop here.
Pointsettia Bowl
Navy +4 San Diego State will struggle against the triple option, Dobbs goes out a winner.
Hawaii Bowl
Hawaii -10 Hawaii..........where mainland teams go to die.
Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl
FIU +2 The Golden Panthers had a tough non-conference schedule and will be pumped for their first bowl game.
Independence Bowl
GT +3 This will be a hard fought game and the score will be close at the end, I'll take the points.
