NFL Week #8 Free Money Report

"This is The Blanket reporting from inside the cash cage at one of the biggest sportsbooks in Vegas, I recognize some of my money in here and that is the wrong answer. I plan on rescuing my green friends this Sunday and also releasing some of the other captured money from the vault into my pocket" I have changed the title of my NFL handicapping blog to reflect a new direction as The Blanket has been slightly above .500 the last two weeks. So lets see how the new image works out as I delve into the numbers and stats to put out a paragraph to back up my research. The way I normally come up with my selections has alot to do with eyeballing the lines when they first come out, from there I go with my gut feeling on a line similar to taking a difficult multiple choice exam, like the LSAT for example. Then I isolate the games I like from eyeballing, I look at trends of covering, but that rarely is an indicator of which way I will go. I like to analyze the teams tangibles, coaches, players, etc. This formula usually results in windfall profits as it will this Sunday. Here is what I have to redeem myself:

Ravens -3 Jared Gaither will be back in the line up for this game allowing Micheal Oher to switch back to his natural side. This will give Flacco time to throw which he has not had in two games. I just cannot see the Ravens losing a 4th game in a row, especially at home. The Broncos are a solid team and have made me alot of money this year, Orton has been outstanding, but the Broncos have basically run away with the AFC West and have the Steelers next week. The Ravens are playing for pride and need this game to stay in the division hunt. I see this to be a low scoring game, but the Ravens should pull it out at home. Both QB's have outstanding protecting, both teams can stop the run, but the Ravens have been struggling against the pass, however, I think having Gaither back in the line up really helps Flacco. 2 units.Win.

Texans -3 Wow, the Texans have won two games in a row, could they be turning the corner? Johnson is banged up and is questionable for this game with a lung contusion. Schaub has alot of other weapons though, such as Daniels and Slaton. Buffalo has an outstanding defense, Fitzpatrick is actually an improvement over Edwards. However, there is a disturbing trend the Bills have and that is they hate covering on the road. The Bills are just 1-7 in their last 8 ATS at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Texans sketchy defense was pitching a shut out until Alex Smith came into the game and brought the 49ers within 3. I am fading that because obviously the Texans had not planned for Smith to enter the game. The Texans beat the Bengals soundly who just like the Bills have a sound defense, but the Bills offense is nowhere near the Bengals. This is a good spot for the Texans as they could be in a wildcard position if they keep playing well. 4 units. Win.

Colts -13 Not even The Blanket is brave enough to bet against Peyton Manning. He is far and away at the top of his game this year. The 49ers are still in transition and have been struggling to run the ball as of late. Smith is getting the start and has to face Freeney and Mathis, have fun Alex. The Colts defense has vastly improved so I think San Fran will struggle to move the ball both on the ground and in the air. The 49ers might be able to shut down Addai, but Manning has too many weapons in Wayne, Clark, Garcon, Collie and Brown for the 49ers to account for. Will the Colts ever lose? 2 units. Loss.

Dolphins +4 Kris Jenkins is out for this game, the Jets premiere run stopper and here come the run happy Dolphins. These teams hate each other, while most teams would fold up shop with a 2-4 record I don't see a Sparano/ Parcells team doing that. Henne won't be phased by the hostile crowd, this guy was the QB at Michigan and had to play in the Horseshoe and at Sparty as well as Happy Valley, none of these places are welcoming to the Wolverines. Maybe Sparano will bench hands of stone Ted Ginn for this contest as he has proved several times he cannot handle the power behind a pass coming from a Wolverine. This game will be tight and the Jets are without Washington as well and their WR's are nothing to write home about. Will Allen Miami's best CB is done for the season too. I see the crowd turning against Sanchez quick if he throws a pick against the Dolphins opportunistic defense that picked Brees 3 times last week. Miami covers a squeaker. 2 units. Win.

Cowboys -10 Wow, I am taking the Cowboys and the Gators in the same weekend? Definitely a first for me. The Cowboys torched the Falcons, the Falcons were embarrassed and should enter the witness protection program. Romo had time to throw and delivered an excellent performance. Miles Austin will command safety help all game long against the Seahawks abysmal secondary, forcing Williams to step up and make plays. The Cowboys secondary played with heart against Atlanta lets hope they continue this week. The Cowboys will be able to run the ball with any of their three backs, Lofa Tatupa is out for the year and his absence will show. Jones and Locklear so Hasselbeck will be a sitting duck as I expect the Cowboys pass rush will be unrelenting, I doubt Morris will have any success against his former team as the Seahawks O-line hates to run block and pass protect. The Cowboys will not take this game lightly as they are poised to make a play for taking the lead in the NFC East. 3 units.Win.

Jaguars +3 David Garrard is playing well and I am definitely not laying points with the Titans. Especially with the Fisher / Manning jersey fallout, this team is in disarray. Collins is gassed and I expect to see VY at some point in this game. I also think MJD will have a big game and which one of the Titans beat up secondary is going to attempt to cover Mike Sims-Walker? The Jags are a better team then the Titans and I am getting points? I like it! 2 units.Loss.

Vikings +3 I guess I did not learn my lesson last week. Favre tossed a pick at a horrible time and blew a cover for me. Let's hope he doesn't have to play from behind in this game. The Packers got their 4 wins against garbage teams ( Lions, Browns, Rams and Bears) They have yet to beat a decent team. The Vikings have had a much tougher schedule. Rodgers has been sacked alot this year, look for that to continue here. Tauscher and Clifton should be back for this game, but who knows if they will be ready to handle the Vikings D-line and mad man Jared Allen, the Vikings secondary is beat up but I don't envision Rodgers having much time to throw. Vikings pull out a close game, I like the points here. 2 units.Win.

Cardinals -10 I'm not too high on this game, matter of fact there is no NFL game this weekend that makes me want to lay big units on. The Cardinals hate covering double digit spreads at home. Then again they are playing the Panthers, who scored 2 points against the Bills (minus a TD in garbage time) Delhomme will struggle against the Cards secondary. Arizona looks to have figured it out as Warner went deep twice against the Giants. The Cardinals defense has been looking great the last couple of games as they blew out the Seahawks at Qwest field and really frustrated Eli last week. I think the Cards will put Delhomme on suicide watch after this game. Cards big. 2 units. Loss.

Season Record 38-14-1
Eight games so far, if I have a good Saturday with my college action I might add two games, those being the Raiders +17 and the Giants Pk. I am thinking bettors will start pounding the Eagles making the Giants a dog. The Chargers can't run the ball and the Raiders will shut down the passing game, just ask the Eagles. Lets hope I can get back on track this weekend, I need it.

NCAA Week #9 Pick 'em

College football has been keeping my account afloat the last two weeks as my NFL action has been dreadful. I'm not in the mood for any witty banter this week. Lets get to the picks, I will have a big slate of college action this week but here are a few early ones to wet your appetite for money.

East Carolina -4 ECU is a decent team that can score some points, they have had some nice C-USA wins this season to include Marshall, they also beat UCF, a team with a solid defense. Memphis does not have a solid defense, nor are they a good offense. I think the Pirates cover the 4 on the road.Win.

West Virginia -3 USF has no heart and likes to get blown out at home, look for this trend to continue here on a national stage. You can't teach pride or heart and USF has none of either. This game will be like taking free money from Vegas. USF couldn't catch Zach Collaros so how are they going to catch Noel Divine out of the backfield, he will have a huge day and the Mountaineers will move the ball with ease. USF can't stand stopping the run or defending the pass and they really hate winning conference games. WV big. Loss.

****Ole Miss -3 Looks like the Rebels have found their grove, beating a solid Razorbacks team with ease on Saturday. Auburn has been beat real badly their last couple of games and I see that trend continuing here. I think we are getting good value here with the Rebels, lets take advantage of that here. Auburn looks prepped to continue their downward spiral. Loss.

****South Carolina +6 I have stated before, you will never see me take the Gamecocks when they are favored. As dogs they always seem to show up. SC has a solid defense and will be able to pressure Crompton and put the clamps on the Vols running game. The Vols are getting alot of hype coming off a close loss to Alabama, I don't buy it. I see this as a very low scoring game and a battle of field goals, in that situation I love taking points and I think getting 6 points here is a nice play. Loss.

Oregon +4 Oregon loves to cover and they have the best uniforms in college football. USC is over-hyped and an ESPN love child. The Ducks offense has really been clicking since they laid an egg against Boise St., which was a total fluke. USC is nothing special and they do not cover. Barkley is a solid QB but I think he will have a rough time in Autzen Stadium this time around. The Ducks play as of late is a testament to their coach, I don't see the Ducks slowing sown at home. I think the Ducks win this game outright and as always I will take the points as well as the money. Win.

Arkansas -38 Huge number here I know, but this is a non conference game and Mallet's passer rating is through the roof against non-conference opponents. Eastern Michigan hates covering and winning, they will be out matched in every aspect of this game. Having problems justifying the 38? Think about what the Razorbacks did to Texas A&M. I just don't see how the Eagles will be able to score here. Central Michigan beat them by 47 as well and that was an in state rival, Razorbacks might cover after the 1st quarter and they need this game as the Razorbacks have had a very difficult schedule.Loss.

****GT -12 Vandy is getting alot of credit here for being in the SEC, that probably lowered the spread 2-3 points here. GT is in the drivers seat for the ACC crown and I don't see the Yellowjackets taking any opponent lightly. Vandy lost to Army, that's bad. The triple option is very hard to stop and should pile up yardage in this contest as it is very hard to prep for this type of offense.Win.

Houston -6 The line has dropped 1 point in my favor here. I like laying 6 MUCH better than 7 for obvious reasons. Southern Miss has been a huge disappointment, they had a national TV audience that witnessed the Eagles shit their pants a couple of weeks ago, but then again so did the Cougars. Houston is tough at home and their potent offense is very capable of putting up points in a hurry. Southern Miss has a backup at QB which makes me even more comfortable laying the points.Win.

****Pokes +9 The Longhorns are primed for a loss and Stillwater is the perfect place for theri cherry to get popped. Another loss by Oklahoma St and the Pokes are done and out of a Big 12 title shot. Dez Bryant might be in the lineup as well. Texas is a slow starting team, they might want to be careful with that, because Zach Robinson is a solid QB and a fierce competitor and is a better QB then Colt "I don't want to start playing till the 2nd half" Mccoy. If the Pokes double up Jordan "Mr. Ed" Shipley Texas will struggle to move the ball. Hopefully Dez and Kendall are both back for this contest. The Longhorns have no identity right now and look a bit sloppy, upset alert on the road for the Longhorns.Loss.

Air Force -4 I love this game!!!!! I have bet against Air Force 1 time this year and that was when they played covering machine Wyoming (go away Mel Kiper Jr. you ruined Idaho for me and if I see/ hear you talking about the rest of my covering machines and my one reverse covering machine we are going to have a fireside chat and you will not enjoy it). CSU was a jr. covering machine in the beginning of the year as I called the outright when against their in state rival. However, since then the pants shitting has commenced. TCU beat them by 600 and embarrassed me on my pick 'em forum. Air Force plays every one tough for example TCU 3 point loss, Navy 3 point loss, Utah (in Utah) 7 point loss. So I think they cover the 4 easy, this will be a 10 unit play for me. Win.

Gators -15 wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! Go Gators!!!!!!! I love Tim Tebow, just kidding I can't stand him. However, Georgia is terrible and Urban Meyer holds a grudge like an elephant, he will never forget the touchdown celebration that the Bulldogs felt prudent to do. The Gators need a big win, its time to put up or shut up for Tebow. I figure the Gators will get a free touchdown here for the 3rd week in a row so technically the spread for this game is -8 and I think the Gators can get that against a pathetic Bulldogs squad. I can't believe I just wrote about the Gators on my blog, their goes my journalistic integrity, I am going to put a bible verse on my eye black for my next co-ed softball game to make amends!Win.

****Indiana +18 The Hoosiers can score some points, Iowa hates scoring points until there is 2 seconds left on the clock and The Blanket is clinging to life. No doubt the Hawkeyes win this game but, I can't see them winning by more than 14. Iowa is another South Carolina. In case you are a new reader I have my South Carolina rule and that rule is as follows quoted from the Bible it states as follows: "The Gamecocks are not in play in any game in which they are favored, they are in play if they are dogs of any amount because they play to the level of their opponents" Apply this to the Hawkeyes in this situation. I have alot of respect for Ferentz and Stanzi as well as the team but 18 is alot of wood here.Push.

Season Record 30-23-2
Pick 'em Challenge 1-3-1
That is what I have money lovers. Lets have a Saturday of unit collecting I need it as I have been breaking even the last 2 weeks. If you have noticed I jumped off the Idaho bandwagon this week as well as my Iowa State bandwagon. Mel Kiper is to blame for Idaho and I have been riding Iowa State for too long. I mentioned earlier about my covering machines. I will list them here because I care about my readers and want them to profit. I'm not one of those handicappers that tries to sway action, I simply don't have the readership for that. My covering machines are Air Force, Navy, Wyoming, South Carolina, my reverse covering machine is Rice, but they are on a bye this week so we will bet against them next week. I started off well this week with an ECU cover, lets keep it going as I look to redeem myself on my NFL action as I have been have un-Blanket-like performances the last two weeks, it ends today.

Weekend Recap...............

Another bad weekend, my College football action was decent, can't really complain about that as I had a few games that were unpublished that I took last minute. Another NFL weekend of total disaster, wow, I was terrible. It looked like the 1pm games were shaping up nicely the 49ers were coming back and the Vikings cut into the 10 point lead. At least the 49ers pushed for me and got my 5 units back, the Vikings went on to shit their pants, that was the first time I bet on them this year and now I know why. The Patriots, Colts and Chargers covered for me early. The Bills were the only team that covered for me the rest of the day. Right now as I type I am sending my last 2.5 units to settle the payment with Vegas as I took the Redskins +10, yup I am an asshole and I hate money. I expect my NFL action to be very thin this week as I do not like what I see right now. I had three unpublished games I took on Sunday as I went with the Chargers, Bills and Bears. 2 of the 3 covered. Lets just say I will never bet on the Bears again. They are garbage. I hope Kyle Orton is laughing at them. That being said the Falcons are the worst team in the NFL and thoroughly embarrassed me. Also the USF Bulls got their teeth kicked in by the Pitt Panthers and they deserve it, I honestly hope USF loses every game the rest of this year, they have no pride, they look like a bunch of 5 year old kids running around randomly attempting to play football with absolutely no game plan or knowledge that there are penalties called in football. Leavitt, Canales and Tresey need to be fired right now. USF needs 2 more wins to get a bowl game, maybe they can beat L'ville but that is it. So I have them going 6-6 on the year, impressive. Good to see the Gators got yet another free touchdown on Saturday night, its very sad that they cannot win a game without cheating, the Gators are now 6-1 after their 3 point victory against MSU. They have the Bulldogs this weekend, I wonder how many unearned touchdowns Tebow will be praying for this weekend. It is now time for the last rankings of my most hated college football teams, here they are:
1.) Florida
2.) Nevada
3.) Boise St.
4.) Notre Dame
5.) USC
6.) Ohio St.
7.) Texas
There we have it. I will be posting some of my college games shortly.

NFL Week #7 Pick 'em

I will have my comeuppance this Sunday Vegas, The Blanket does not go 5-3 ATS on NFL games. So I vow this week to make sure that does not happen. Plus I don't like using my own cash for paying my credit card bills, that is what Vegas is for. Here is what I have for my fans of tax free money this week.

49ers +3 I like the Texans as underdogs, just like the Bengals. However the Texans as a home favorite, not so much. I expect Singletary to have his team tuned up and ready for this contest after they suffered their worst loss in franchise history against the Falcons two weeks ago. Matt Schaub has alot of problems with the 3-4 defense and the 49ers have a pretty good one. Plus the Texans do not like winning two games in a row. I think the Texans will also have trouble in pass protection here as well, look for the 49ers to use Gore alot to give Hill the ability to move the chains in short yardage situations. The Texans have beaten the Raiders and the Titans, not impressive. Yes they beat the Bengals but Cincy had to flatten out soon its been a emotional season for them so far. I highly doubt Singletary will let his troops roll over and let Arizona walk with the NFC West. 2 units. Push.

Colts -14 The Colts are playing out of their minds right now, they have had a week to get healthy and I think the Miami game really motivated this team. Manning is so good that a conference rival head coach is rocking an 18 jersey to fundraisers saying "he wants to feel like a winner". Good stuff. Manning has new toys in Garcon, Collie and Brown, he enjoys this new trio. Donnie Avery the Rams "best receiver" is out for this contest and Steven Jackson can only do so much. The Rams put a ton of effort into the Jags game only to come up short and now they have to play the Colts. Somehow I get the feeling that Bulger will be hurt again in this game. 5 units. Win.

Vikings +4 Some people think that the Vikings will be flat for this game, not me. The Steelers are overrated in my opinion. Also they mysteriously never cover missing the point spread often by a 1/2 -3 points? Hmmmmmm..........is this a coincidence, remember the Rooneys got their money from a sportsbook, perhaps they are helping the teams finances with some cash infusion from Vegas. I'm not promoting a conspiracy theory here, but I have noticed a trend. Dick Lebeau's "awesome defense/ blitz schemes" have given up 28, 20 and 14 points to dreadful teams. I think the wrong team is favored here. The Vikings have a solid defense, excellent running game and Favre has been playing well. I don't see guys like Jared Allen and Favre rolling over for the Super Bowl Champs. 4 units.Loss.

Patriots -15 I should have bet some more units on this game, knowing the Patriots do not lose two games in a row. Also, Bellichek hates Jeff Fisher because Fisher was outspoken about the whole Spygate thing. It looks like the Pats are really coming together, I don't see how the Bucs can cover Welker or Moss. Hard to tell if both teams will be focused when they cross the pond, but I don't see the Pats looking past the hapless Bucs especially with the Dolphins coming to life all of a sudden. The Hoodie is known for coming after new QB's with reckless abandon. Johnson is in for a long day. The field at Wembly Stadium is usually in bad shape which could hurt the Bucs running game. Pats 30-10. 5 units. Win.

Falcons +4 The Cowboys are a public team, therefore the oddsmakers always put 2-4 extra points on the spread. This will benefit us here as the Falcons have discovered how to play defense all of a sudden and they have been doing well at cutting down on their opponents running game. The Cowboys will be starting Barber in this game and I doubt he has healed 100% from his quad injury. Romo could also have a rough day as Flozell Adams will have trouble handling Abraham. The Cowboys just do not have the weapons or the defense to keep up with the Falcons in this contest. 4 units.Loss.

Dolphins +7 I know the Saints are the greatest team ever. However Brees struggled mightily against the Jets and Bills, both who are lesser team then the Dolphins who are at home for this contest. The Dolphins weakness is against the pass and New Orleans has a great O-line, but how focused will they be after coming off a huge win versus the Giants and a Monday night contest looming with the Falcons. I doubt Payton has prepared much for the Wildcat and the Dolphins run it to perfection. Henne has been playing well since taking over and the Dolphins have been showing signs of life and a win here could put them back in the mix for the AFC East crown. The Dolphins will have to rely on their running game to chew up clock and keep Brees on the sideline. 3 units. Loss.

Giants -7 The Giants are a proud team who were embarrassed last weekend, they are in need of some home cooking. I feel bad for the Cardinals in this spot and we benefit from the odds makers discounting the Giants this week. The Giants weak secondary was exposed last week, that being said Warner doesn't have the arm that Brees does. Warners longest completion this year is 26 yards and Boldin is out for this game so the Giants will double Fitzgerald. The Cards had Hassellbeck running for his life all game last week, the Giants however have a great O-line and Eli will have time to throw to his emerging WR's. The Giants most likely won't have much running room against Arizona as the Cards are #1 against the run. Giants rebound here. 4 units.

Redskins +7 I pointed out to Billy Vegas on Saturday that the Eagles hate covering when they are favorites, but I figured it wouldn't matter because they were playing the Raiders whose players hate employment. Andy Reid hates alot of things, lets pa ruse a few shall? Here is my list of things Andy Reid hates: 1.) Offspring with no felony records 2.) Sandwiches he has not yet eaten. 3.) Running the football 4.) When his players tackle the other teams players. Both teams have horrendous O-lines and when the Eagles pass 600 times a game that makes a problem. Campbell is equally as bad, he will throw the short pass crap all game long, but the Redskins will run the ball, futile, but they will run it. Both teams have good D-lines and total defense so I see this being a low scoring affair. The Redskins will be playing their hated rivals who they have had success against recently and they will also be playing for Zorn's job who the players like having as their coach. Plus they are at home on a Monday night game. I see this as a 3 point game either way. 2 units.

Season Record 33-11-1
There you have it money lovers, enjoy the cash windfall as we recapture some of our lost winnings! A nice 8 game slate should be good for our bank accounts.

NCAA Week #8 Pick 'em

Vegas took alot of my units on Sunday that I had just won on Saturday, leaving me with 4 units of profit for the weekend, unacceptable. I intend to get my money back and then some, because I do charge interest, no free loans here. Enough small talk. Lets get to the action for Saturday.

Arkansas +6 Arkansas cares about my bank account. Ryan Mallet is the best QB in the SEC. Imagine him on Alabama?? Nasty. I expect the Razorbacks to come out pissed off for this contest as they were robbed last week in someplace called the swamp. Arkansas has a team of all around athletes, I like the duo of Mallet to Childs. Ole Miss needs to be sold to a glue factory. Plus the Rebels hate covering against the Razorbacks and I like getting points here as I think the wrong team is favored. Snead really misses Oher & Wallace and it shows. Loss.

Iowa St. +18 Same formula as last week, why are the Cornhuskers favored by 18 here? I love getting 18, 11, 4 pts because it turns a field goal into a touchdown, a couple of touchdowns and several touchdowns. I guess the Huskers are laying so many points because the have that guy Donkey Kong Suh, who cares about Mr. Donkey Kong. Iowa State loves to cover and their QB Arnaud loves scoring points, as he did against Kansas, lets just hope he his healthy and doesn't have a Tony Pike in the 2nd half. Win.

Idaho +15 Apparently King of all that is douche Mel Kiper Jr. jumped on the Vandals bandwagon, get off Mel. I have been riding them to the bank for a while now as they have been a covering machine. Nevada is a pants shitting money burner, who will be added to my list of the teams I hate the most. Write that down. The Pomeranian Pack cost me money twice this year and that can put you in hot water quickly as I don't like being embarrassed on my pick 'em forum. Nathan Enderle = Tony Pike, Colin Kaepernack = pants shitting dumpster baby. I just can't wait for the Vandals to beat the HIGHLY overrated Boise St. Broncos and their head coach Shane Van Drel. Loss. (Thanks Mel Kiper Jr.)

Iowa Pick I do not like going against my Spartans, but when money is at stake it forces me to be a realist. Iowa is like a used car, nothing pretty but they get the job done and are reliable. They beat a decent Wiscy team on the road last week and gave me profit for the 3rd time this year. The Hawkeyes are well coached and don't make mistakes. Meanwhile Sparty is having a mediocre year, they struggled with Northwestern last week and they have been making some turnovers in pretty much every game. Win.

UCF -10 I just found my UCF student ID the other day, yes that is where The Blanket started his college education. My brother is also an alumni as well, then he went to grad school at Texas A&M after I threatened to abandon him if he went to Florida. That being said my brother hates going to schools with good football teams. UCF and coach front butt follow a distinct pattern, it goes like this: W, L, W, L, W, L, ? you see a trend? and here are the lowly Rice Owls, me and Billy Vegas scramble to see who Rice is playing every week because Rice hates to win, but even more they despise covering. Lets hope they continue their losing ways. Coach Red Face has to win this game. UCF has a solid defense, a nice RB. Hodges has been in college since I was in high school and should be able to throw against the Rice "defense" also Rocky Ross has been at UCF since I was still in the womb and is a perennial pain in the ass pass catcher who hates graduating in centuries that are numbered 0-9. UCF rolls. Win.

Auburn +8 Statement game for the Tigers here after getting milk cartoned by Mallet & Co. as well as the Wildcats, they need this game to regain some respect. The Bayou Bengals are a fraud and they are 1-8-1 against the number at home in their last 10 games. That is usually what happens when your offense hates scoring points.Loss.

Season Record 24-18-1
That is what I have so far, I am still kicking around some other games. I will research them and get back to you all. In case you are wondering what games, I will tell you: Air Force +10, Mississippi St +23, Miami -5. I shall return.

Weekend Recap NFL Week 6 & NCAA Week 7

Ouch..............my NFL action this week was an abortion clinic fire, an abysmal 4-3 with only the Broncos left to go tonight. After Saturday night I was happier than Rex Ryan with a platter full of sandwiches. I couldn't hit water if I fell out of a boat on Sunday, I couldn't cover a dish, let along a game. As most of my readers know my moniker "The Blanket" was given to me by my friend an fellow handicapper Billy Vegas, but occasionally I have been known to shit my pants, like this Sunday for example, to which Billy Vegas then invokes the other name he came up with for me "Baby Blanket" when asked to explain this new nickname upon first hearing it, he said "you cover, just not that much" thus the Baby Blanket. It was almost like Vegas hacked into my account and looked at my picks then said "This is gonna be fucking fun!" (I had to throw a quote in from "The Departed" somewhere) I haven't been this embarrassed since I got into that turf war with an alley cat. Family Guy anyone.......................? I should have known today was going to be a bad day when I woke up and checked my email and got an offer for some pills that I can take so I will be able to "have sex all night long" for only $50. I responded with "Really? well that takes care of 50% of my problem, now I just need a willing female participant" In honor of the new BCS standings I decided I would make my own list. This will be a list of teams that I hate, prepare to copy:
1.) Florida
2.) Boise St.
3.) Notre Dame
4.) Ohio St.
5.) USC
6.) Texas
All these teams suck, because I said so. A couple questions I have about the current rankings. Why is Ohio State ranked? Why is Kansas ranked? Why is Boise St ranked 3rd? Why is Alabama not 1st? ( I can't wait till they curbstomp Florida, I am going to relish that day in Atlanta) Why did USF fall out of the "Top 25" after losing to number 5 Cincinnati? How are those SEC refs allowed to keep their jobs after those two blown calls against Arkansas? The University of Florida, their football team, students and alumni as well as the countless "fans"that never went to the University or any University for that matter should be ashamed of themselves and vacate that win. I thought it was fishy when Tebow went over to the ref during the SEC championship game last year and told him to pick up the flag he just threw on him for intentional grounding and the ref did, what a joke Tebow is. Lets see, what else...............I hate the Gators. Really Eagles?? Really Giants?? I forgot the Eagles hate scoring touchdowns, and the Giants hate playing defense. I would like to end on a sad note, paying respect to Jasper Howard and his family as he was killed Saturday night. Terrible loss seeing as how he was supposed to be a father in the near future.

Prime time pants shiting......................

I was utterly and profusely embarrassed by my Alma mater tonight. Nothing worse than getting the shit kicked out of you in your own house. Hats off to the Bearcats as they made the pathetic Bulls look like dime store hookers. Really USF defensive coordinator, really? No wonder you got fired from Cincinnati, because you are hot garbage, a proverbial Mount Trashmore. As a result of this game I will not attend another USF game ever, they have embarrassed me for the last time. Why put up a billboard on 275 saying welcome to the big four? Nobody celebrates mediocrity, if they did there would be a party every time someone bought a Hyundai. Jim Leavitt needs to be fired, so does Mike Canales and the USF D-coordinator, I will not pay any more alumni dues until Leavitt is gone, he cannot beat any team in the Big East with any consistency besides Syracuse. I'm sick and tired of it every year, same effen story. Why is a second string QB pulling away from your secondary like they are standing still, no excuses for that, that is just pure apathy and a total lack of pride and a total disregard for the university, alumni and students. USF is a joke, enjoy your 1-7 record in conference play assholes, you will get no more of my support or my money.

NFL Week 6 Pick 'em

Another tough week of handicapping in the NFL, I had another great Sunday last week improving to 26-5 on my NFL action alone. Looking at the lines it's not going to be an easy task of handicapping these games. Vegas has caught up to me on some teams that I have been riding all season, namely the Bengals and the Broncos. I will be cutting back a bit on my NFL action to offer you the highest quality picks I can resulting in alot of profit with hopefully no loss.

**NEWS FLASH** I am changing this pick to the Texans +6 @ 1 unit***********
Texans +6 I have really struggled with this game. The line doesn't make sense to me, Bengals at home laying 4? Really I expected a spread of 7. If you look at the trends I guess Houston should win outright, the trends say Gary Kubiak is 6-1 against the number on the road after a road loss and the Bengals are 5-10 ATS as a home favorite since 2007, also since 2000 home favorites after a road win by 3 points or less are 19-42 ATS. That being said I have been fading trends since I started handicapping to focus more on the tangibles. The Texans have yet to defeat a team with a win. They could not get to Kurt Warner last week and the Texans hate tackling members of the opposing team who have the football. So what bothers me is, the Cardinals are a one dimensional team, they have zero running game, the Bengals have a resurgent Cedric Benson who amazingly got 100 yards rushing against the Ravens. Cincy has two good corners that can take away two of Houston's weapons, Kubiak will give the ball to Chris Brown who hates positive yardage and painted grass behind 2 orange pylons. Hopefully the Texans pull it out here though. 1 unit.Win.

Ravens +3 I don't see the Ravens losing 3 games in a row, this is a proud team and the Vikings were statistically unimpressive versus the lowly Rams last week. Matter of fact the Vikings were out played, but I covered due to two St. Louis fumbles inside the 5 yard line. I think AP will be pretty much bottled up in this game, 75 yards and a touchdown. The good news and my ace in the hole is that the Ravens get Omar Gaither back this week to protect Flacco's blindside. The Ravens have a great O-line which will give Flacco time to throw against Minnie's 17th ranked secondary and Ray Rice should have another nice day as well. Favre should also play well as the Ravens secondary is not what it used to be, but can Favre keep himself from throwing into triple coverage in this game? Also the Vikings have a 2 game road trip coming up against some tough opponents and a lead in the NFC North, they might no be completely focused here. The Ravens have has success under Harbaugh ATS, so hopefully they pick up a win here. 2 units.Win.

Giants +3 I expect this to be a very tight game, so I am taking the points and the Giants travel very well and will not be bothered by the hostile environment. Eli has been playing out of his mind and the Giants have a nice crop of young receivers and Bradshaw has been running well as of late. The Saints struggled against Buffalo (offensively) and the Lions put some points on them as well. The Giants won't be able to get much pressure on Brees, same with the Saints as both teams have outstanding O-lines, these teams match up well but the Giants have been there before and the Saints hate living up to their hype. The Saints are ranked 6th and 9th against the pass and run, the Giants haven't been as good but those numbers are due to an outlier with Tuck out. Expect a tough game, but I think the Giants squeak it out. 2 units. Loss.

Seahawks -3 We are getting some value here, lets take advantage of that. The Seahawks will be winning the West now that the 49ers have been exposed. Hasselbeck came out on fire, the Seahawks have pitched two shut outs at home this year with Hasselbeck under center. The Seahawks pass rush is good and they are VERY tough at home. Poor David Garrard spent the entire game running for his life, so how do you think the Cardinals and Warner will fair with no running game? MJD ran for only 34 yards, the Seahawks do not have much of a running game either but it is better than Arizona's for sure. I don't see how Warner will be able to have success against the Seahawks pedestrian with the pass rush in his face all day long, the Cards O-line hate pass protecting and it will show. 5 units. Loss.

Eagles -14 Really? Do I actually have to write anything here? Will Tom Cable's headset work from his jail cell. Russell is an oxygen thief with no work ethic. Heyward-Bay is awful and the Raiders hate using their only weapon, Micheal Bush. Mcnabb has a vast array of weapons and Chris Johnson is going to have a real bad day and there is no doubt that Russell will complete a few passes to Asante Samuel and Sheldon Brown. Eagles fly. 5 units.Loss.

Patriots -9 The Patriots will not lose two games in a row, and especially not at home to the lowly Titans. How are the Titans beat up secondary possible going to cover Moss and Welker. The Titans are waving the white flag, I think Collins is gassed and the Titans might start Vince Young since the season is over for them, Pats easy. 5 units.Win.

Falcons -3 Matt Ryan doesn't lose at home, except for the one time he played Jay Cutler. Lovie Smith hates covering after a bye 1-4 ATS. The Bears have the 12th ranked stop unit, BUT lets look at the games they played, you will see that the Falcons O-line is the best they have faced this year, Matt Ryan with time to throw can be bad for business, I expect this game to be close. Don't expect a 20 point Falcons win, like the thrashing they gave the 49ers last week. That win happened mostly because Mike Smith exposed the 49ers over aggressive defense. The Falcons have a great secondary but are terrible at stopping the run, that being said Matt Forte has been struggling so far this year, so lets hope the Falcons can contain him. 2 units.Win.

Broncos +4 Really Vegas? They are still fading the Broncos. The Chargers are done, everyone is fighting, Merriman and Tomlinson are garbage. San Diego has a ton of injuries and a garbage secondary. Moreno will have alot of success on the ground with Jamal Williams out, Orton seems to be doing well in Mcdaniels system. That "Wild Horses" formation is great and the Broncos should have more success with it because I doubt Norv Turner did any prep in their bye week. San Diego has some great weapons, Rivers, Jackson and Gates, but how much can Rivers do when Elvis Dumerville moves into the Chargers backfield? Plus these two teams hate each other so Denver should not have a let down here. I love the points in this game, but hopefully we don't need them. 2 units. Win.

NCAA Week #7 Pick 'em

Looks like I will be going heavy on my college action this weekend. I picked up my tickets today for the showdown on Thursday night at Raymond James Stadium between the Cincinnati Bearcats and my South Florida Bulls, Tampa will be rocking!! I will be rocking my green game day shirt for the "Green Out" and I will also be rocking some Coors Light, the official beer of The Blanket. Me and Billy Vegas have been kicking around games all day today. We have discovered some diamonds in the rough that we are going to polish up and exchange for cash. Lock up your vault Vegas, cause he we come. Oh, one funny story before I get to the money part. As I was driving home from Publix my phone rang with a 702 area code, I picked it up and it was some clown trying to sell me his picks. I laughed at this guy and asked if he knew who I was, long story short I sold him some of my NFL picks. Real Talk. Ok money time now:

Iowa +3 Iowa is undefeated and heading into a hostile Camp Randall Stadium this week. Iowa is a very fundamentally sound team, they do not make mistakes (not counting Stanzi's pick 6). The Badgers are also a much improved team from last year as well, but they managed to turn the ball over several times which cost them the game against Ohio St. The Hawkeyes have had two down games against inferior competition but Ferentz will have them ready to play. The Hawkeyes own the Badgers like they own Happy Valley going 7-1 against the number vs the Badgers. I'll take the points here.Win.

Texas Tech +11 The Cornhuskers are laying 11 here? Why exactly? The Huskers will be missing one of their RB's for this contest and Helu Jr looked like he was pretty hurt against Mizzou. Tech's defense is a little better than the Tigers and besides playing VT, Nebraska has had a pretty soft schedule. It should not matter if Potts or Sheffield starts this game. Mike Leach system is set up that way. I feel like if Nebraska wins this game it will be by 3 points. They did not impress me at all against Mizzou, the Tigers gift wrapped that game for them in the 4th quarter. Zac Lee has been sharp at times, but I just do not think he can keep up with Leach's offense here.Win.

Arkansas +25 I love this game, and it my be a 10+ unit play, I might pawn one of my dogs to get some more money on this game. The Gators were unimpressive against the Tigers on Saturday and Ryan Mallet is MUCH better than Jefferson at LSU. I think Arkansas is the best team on the Gators schedule. While I was watching my money boomerang back into my account on Saturday night thanks to a push, I was wondering "why is Tebow still in the game with 2 minutes left and LSU down two scores. Meyer will run Tebow into the ground if it means he can get another ring for his next ESPN commercial, he disgusts me, and I can't stand Tebow and his religious non-sense. Arkansas gave me a wire to wire cover on the 17th ranked, undefeated Tigers last week. This line tells me that Vegas thinks that the Razorbacks cant score 14 points on the Gators in this game. The Gators have covered one time this year against Kentucky. If Arkansas can withstand the initial 1st quarter firestorm, they should be in line for a nice cover. Dare I say even and outright win? I think the Razorbacks woke up after the 28 point beating they took from the Tide, and Alabama is better all around then the Gators. Enjoy the payday from this game, I will!!Win.

Colorado St. +22 The Rams came out on fire, but since then they are 0-3. TCU is a SOLID team but I think 22 points is a little much here. Dalton is a good QB, but the Horned Frogs offense is not high flying and TCU's defense has been giving up some points this season. No doubt TCU takes this game, but if the Rams can keep from turning the ball over in this game we should be in good shape for a nice cover and more of that sweet Vegas money! Loss. (I'm embarrassed)

Idaho -10 The Vandals are a covering machine lately sssshhhhhhhh! Keep that under your hat so we can put some cash into our wallets! Hawaii is a prom night dumpster baby, they have no QB either and Idaho has been playing well under the radar. The Vandals only loss came to an improved Washington team, but they still put up 23 points in this contest. Nathan Enderle is a solid QB who reminds me of Cincy's Tony Pike. Idaho has a decent running game and Hawaii's offense will be struggling to score points with Alexander on the shelf. Hopefully the Vandals keep that ATS winning streak alive as well as our bank accounts.Win.

VT -3 I'm not a big fan of VT right now, they have cost me money this year and I do not care for that. Flat out if they can't beat GT by more than 3 they do not deserve to be in the top 15. I'm tired of hearing about Bud Foster, Duke marched up and down the field on them, and they beat a BC team that has zero offensive punch. So let's see if the Hokies can win this game on the road against Johnson's triple option. GT's offense looked sharp against the Seminoles but their defense did not. Taylor is more mobile than Ponder so I see this creating some problems for the GT defense. The way to stop the option is with speed and VT supposedly has that on defense, we shall see. Loss. (I don't want to hear ANYTHING about VT the rest of the year, they are who we thought they were.......a LOSER)

Miami -14 The Hurricanes come to the City Beautiful to play a desperate UCF squad. It will no doubt be a hostile environment because Miami fans don't travel well. However, I don't see how the Knights can score on the Hurricanes. Miami has alot of speed on both sides of the ball and if the Hurricanes can get up early that will force O'Leary to have his QB throw the ball and will take UCF's best player, Brynn Harvey out of the game. Canes roll.Win.

South Carolina +17 Alabama will win this game, but the Tide are notorious slow starters and the Gamecocks have a solid defense that will allow them to hang around. Garcia has made alot of improvements so they should be able to score some points in this contest.Win.

Season Record 21-15-1
That's what I have for Saturday's action. I will be loading up on college picks this Saturday because there are only a few NFL games that I am mildly interested in so far, but I am only half way through with my NFL action so far.

Weekend Recap NFL week 5 & NCAA week 6

Made some hay with my college action, I pocketed some extra cash with some game day college bets. I hit 3 extra college games ATS and 2 ML winners, which paid for the front money on 3 of my NFL games, all three of which I won. I hit a 10 game teaser today as well as a 4 team sweetheart teaser, missed 2 games on a 9 team parlay (Thanks Steelers & Texans). I also had some non-posted wins with the Seahawks and Chiefs, as well as the Giants. All in all it was a good weekend but I am still on a mission to hit a big payday with a 9 or 10 game parlay, that day will come soon enough. Each week that goes by I keep waiting for Vegas to catch me, but it seems I have gained the upper hand at least for now. I wonder what gems they will toss our way this upcoming week. Stay tuned, lets make even more money next weekend!!

NFL Week 5 Pick 'em

I watched some of the new UFL game tonight while the Cornhuskers were making me money. It was OK, I didn't like the uniforms at all though, they look boring and CFL-ish. The Huskers logo is the only decent one. I prefer the AFL over the UFL though, more entertaining. Difficult week of handicapping for me here, Vegas has really clamped down on the lines and a few are in the high double digits, which makes even a seasoned prognosticator like myself squeamish. So I am going to assign units to each pick that I make. Lets see what we have to pluck off the money tree for Sunday.

Vikings -10 Some people think this could be a look ahead game for Minnie, but they are a team of veterans and I think they will take this game seriously. The Rams are a complete and utter trainwreck. I don't even know why they let Jackson play he is going to wind up getting injured from the weekly beating he takes behind that horrible offensive line. I don't see the Rams coming close to the endzone in this contest and I am quite sure that Minnie will be able to score at least 2 touchdowns, Jared Allen will probably do that himself. 2 units.Win.

Eagles -15 ALOT of points to lay here, but the Bucs are that bad. They will get Tanard Jackson back to help their 22nd ranked defense. It won't be enough though. the Bucs were unable to move the ball at all against the Redskins despite all the turnovers from Campbell the Bucs got all their points off turnovers that Washington made deep in its own endzone. It won't matter if Kolb or Mcnabb starts in this contest, the Eagles are coming off a bye and at home, they have had time to get healthy and remember what they did in week 1 to the Panthers. Josh Johnson is in way over his head here. 2 units.Win.

Bengals +9 Getting good value here on the Bengals, most likely because they were flat against Cleveland last week, but I guess it is hard to get up for a winless team. The Ravens although I am now becoming a fan of them, could be in a little bit of a spot here. They put alot into the game against the Patriots only to come up a little short. Palmer didn't play well last week, hopefully the Bengals team that shows up is the same one who beat the Steelers and the Packers. The Ravens have struggled against the pass this year. Benson most likely won't be doing too much running in this contest, as the Ravens stop unit is top notch. I think this game will be close with the Ravens pulling out a 3 point win. Also the Ravens left tackle is iffy for this game, which could be a problem for Flacco and the passing game. 5 units.Win.

Texans +6 This will be the first game this year where I have bet on the Texans. I think they are undervalued here. The Texans flat out can't stop the run, but the Cards don't have much of a running game anyway, Wells fumbles too much and Hightower dances around way too much. Schaub has looked good the last couple of games and really torched a solid Raiders CB duo last week. The Cards pass defense was exposed by the Colts and while Warner is still a Hall of Fame QB, he is 38 and did have hip surgery this offseason. The Cards O-line is another question mark as well, but the Texans also struggle against the 3-4 defense, but I think getting 6 points here is too much to walk away from. 5 units. Loss.

Colts -4 The Colts hate the Titans and the Titans reciprocate those sentiments. The Colts are getting healthy and the Titans are on the verge of mailing the rest of this season in. Peyton and Eli right now pretty much own the NFL. The Titans secondary is vastly depleted for this game. Johnson will have to have a ton of touches in this game to keep Manning off the field for the Titans to even have a chance in this game, but in the end I think the Colts will be too much for the Titans to handle. Given the fact the Titans are a desperate team right now and they HATE the Colts I see them putting up and early fight much like the Dolphins did, but resistance will be futile here, Manning is unstoppable. 2 units.Win.

Brown +6 I think I might be the only person taking the Browns but, Anderson wants a win to separate himself from that abomination of a QB Brady Quinn. The Browns got rid of one cancer this week in Braylon Edwards, what a bag of shit that guy is. I thought it was cute how Brady wore Edwards cleats to practice today, but it begs the question, why do you need cleats to stand on the sideline and hold a clip board?? Fitting Edwards went to the Jets, you know...........birds of a feather. The Bills can't stop the run, they have alot of injuries, and the Bills are 3-20 ATS after playing the Dolphins. Harrison should have a nice day and Stuckey will give Anderson a receiver who can actually catch a ball. 2 units. Win.

Broncos +4 I called the Broncos win over the Cowboys last week and I wasn't surprised by it. Last weeks game really helped the Broncos to believe in themselves despite what all the talking heads were saying about them. New England is giving up almost 5 YPC in the rushing game, good news for Moreno who should be in for a big game with Buckhalter out. It was good to see Brandon Marshall make some plays last week, I expect him to come up big in this game to help out his QB Kyle Orton. Orton doesn't have a big play arm but he rarely makes mistakes. Denver's defense is for real and Invesco field will be rocking for this game. Lets not overlook these three gems either. 1.) Taylor is out. 2.) Brady is 1-3 in the Mile High City 3.) Josh Mcdaniels was the OC for who? That's right.............the Patriots. Enjoy this loss Tom Brady, I know I will. 10 units. Win.

Redskins +4 Another undervalued team here, the Redskins have a great defense. They don't get any respect because Campbell sucks but then again Delhomme is no ace either. Let's not forget the Redskins played the Giants tough on the road in week 1. I wouldn't bet on Jake Delhomme with a gun to my head. 2 units.Win.

Steelers -11 The Lions are ranked 28th and 23rd against the run and pass respectively. The hair should be back for this game and the Steelers much maligned O-line finally showed up last week vs the Chargers. Stafford hasn't practiced and it wouldn't be wise for him to start this game. I don't see Culpepper putting up much of a fight against the Steelers D. mike Tomlin won't let his team take the Lions for granted as his team is still only 2-2 and needs this game. 2 units. Loss.

9 games for Sunday, huge action for us to line our pockets with some nice tax-free money!!

Week 6 College Football Pick 'em

I'm not really excited about any of these match-ups this weekend. Plus my Bulls are on a bye week, so it will be a stress free Saturday of sorts. Most of the games I am taking Saturday are low spreads. I am becoming increasingly reluctant to take big numbers, of course I have never been a chalk eater though. Most of the games I am taking Saturday will be for 2 units, maybe a multiple unit play on LSU though. Speaking of which, I like how Tebow is a "gametime decision", man I cannot effen stand Urban Meyer, that guy would punch a pregnant woman if it would give him an advantage. Living in Florida I have grown so tired of the UF and FSU homers around here, most of whom have never even been to college. It is especially bothersome due to the fact that I am a USF Alum and alllllll of the people I know in Tampa and hangout with graduated from UF or FSU................hmmmmm, maybe time for some new friends! Enough small talk, lets cut to the money chase.

Nebraska -3 I am going against my Home Dog Theory again here, perhaps mocking the gambling gods. However, Mizzou has yet to face a defense the caliber of Nebraska's, I think the Tigers are another year away from becoming a Big 12 force again once Blaine Gabbert gets some more games under his helmet. Nebraska has blown out three cupcake teams, while Mizzou has struggled against some less than stellar squads. Pellini's squad hung tough with VT in Blacksburg, so they have some big game experience that should help them cover the 3 in this contest.Win.

Georgia +2 Say this out loud: "I feel comfortable laying points on John Crompton" doesn't sound right does it? Some people feel Georgia will be flat in this spot, but Tennesssee also is coming off a tough loss to Auburn. I think this will be a statement game for the Bulldogs as they are less than pleased with the call that went against them last week. The Bulldogs D looked good against LSU and they still have AJ Green. Richt will have his team ready to play here. Joe Cox is the better of the two QB's, although that isn't saying much. UGA is 9-1 it's last 10 road games SU and the Vols are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 at home, smells like a recipe for cash! Loss.

Arkansas +3 Auburn likes to give up alot of points, so when I see a team like Testicle Tech come into their house and hang 30 on them I find that troublesome. Ryan Mallet has been impressive, sans the Alabama contest. The Razorbacks destroyed a decent Texas A&M team on Saturday and my little brother is probably still crying in his soup to see his Aggies get beat down on primetime. Auburn is still a paper Tiger in my eyes (pun intended). I see no reason why the Tigers should be laying points on the road. Which is probably why Vegas is paying even money to entice the public to take Auburn. Auburn is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games on the road. The Razorbacks are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 against Auburn. Win.

Alabama -5 Jevan Snead is really missing Micheal Oher and Mike Wallace, the Rebels have yet to beat a quality opponent and I don't envision this game being close. Saban will have his Tide ready to play as the Gators face a possible L in Baton Rouge that night. Alabama's defense is still very strong even with the loss of their go to guy Hightower. The public has been pounding Ole Miss which makes me even more comfortable with this pick. Alabama is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 on the road while the Rebels are also 5-1 ATS in their last 6 against Alabama. Win.

LSU +10 I am going to be a big LSU fan on Saturday night for two reasons, #1 I like money, #2 I hate the Gators with every fiber of my being. Florida has played NOBODY this year, NOBODY. Ultimate douchebag Meyer will definitely play Tebow regardless of what those silly doctors have to say, he is that selfish. Tebow was 5-10 passing against juggernaut Kentucky, good luck with that. The Volunteers showed the blueprint to beat the Gators and Les Miles will use that in his gameplan. LSU will be fired up for this game as they look to prove their number #4 ranking, 8 is a big number in this spot. Baton Rouge will be rocking came Saturday night. Push.

GT +3 FSU is in turmoil, poor Bobby Bowden, he brings the program from nowhere to a national powerhouse and they are trying to run him out of town, so much for loyalty. That being said don't think I am a Bowden homer because I don't like him, based on the disparaging words he said about USF. I'm tired of hearing about Jimbo Fisher too, I can't stand that clown. He is an Urban Meyer junior who looks like he has a part time job delivering pizzas, what a slob. GT has played a pretty decent schedule and are still in redemption mode after the loss to Miami and are still contenders in the ACC. FSU has no identity right now and the Bowden deal seems like a real distraction for the team, evident by last weeks collapse in Chestnut Hill. GT is 7-2 ATS in its last 9 road games while FSU is 1-5 ATS when playing GT.

That's what we have for Saturday, pretty decent slate of action. Lets get back in the black!! Because going .500 doesn't pay the bills!

Weekend Recap

After this weekend Vegas managed to get some of their cash back from me. My college action season record fell to 12-12. My NFL action season record is now at 19-3. Thanks to some poor calls by the zebra's I lost two games. Those being a bullshit call on AJ Green for excessive celebration, and that shit bag in New England Tom Brady crying like a female about barely getting touched, I hate/ despise/ loathe the Patriots, I'm soooo tired of Tom Brady's Pollyanna ways. It amazes me that in the same game Flacco gets planted by a Pats D-lineman but no flag. Also David Garrard gets body slammed and no flag; to go further why no flag on the former USC shit bag Brian Cushing going helmet to helmet on Russell. Let's call it straight up refs, no giving Brady sympathy calls to Brady because his Wolverines can't beat Sparty. They should just put Brady in a shark tank and let him throw the ball from it, they could have a crane on the sideline and simply pick it up as he moves his band of douche bags down the field. Also they could have someone run out with some Kleenex along with the Gatorade so Brady can wipe the tears and drool away from his bubbling lips. Grow up. In other news, poster boy Tim Tebow got his usual 18 hours of press coverage today. I'm so tired hearing about this clown, while I take no pleasure in him getting hurt; I don't care about his minute to minute status updates. The Gators are overrated and play a soft schedule. Urban Meyer is a shit bag that only cares about himself. He said he would put Tebow in a pro-style offense to showcase his "skills" to the NFL. Furthermore, why does Meyer keep Tebow in with his team up 31-0 after the first quarter against Kentucky? USF took Matt Grothe out after the Bulls posted big leads on their opponents, what exactly are you trying to prove Urban? I cannot wait till next year when USF adds the Gaytors to their list of teams they have beaten in Florida, sorry Urban but your team can only dodge us for so long and your number is up.
