NFL Week #4 Free Money Give Away!!

Alright decent Sunday last Sunday, I went 4-2 ATS bringing me to 9-7 for the young season. College and NFL combined I am 16-14-2. Vegas is continuing to hot air balloon the public, all the Microfinance companies are probably getting hit up for short term loans as the casual bettor is literally losing his shirt. Make sure that you tune in tonight to our Vegas Takedown Show tonight at 9PM @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory become a fan of the show and most importantly LISTEN to the show, call in tell us what you think about our picks and how much you like winning money from the comforts of your couch while the wife is out shopping. Here is what I have for Sunday's NFL action.

Bengals -3 Cincy is not looking sharp on offense, Palmer isn't doing anything on offense. We are due for a big game from Ocho-cinco and T.O. Hopefully this is the week where that happens. The Bengals squeaked out a win in Carolina, yeah I know Claussen played, however the Panthers D is solid and doesn't get much credit because of their 0-3 record. Delhomme will be back so the Iowa State cover buster won't be playing. The Bengals defense should guide us to the money lane here.
1 unit. Loss.

Rams +2 Seahawks away from home are a dumpster fire. Rams are undervalued, Bradford is the exception to the rookie rule. Both teams have some work to do on defense but I think the Rams will have a slight edge here. The Seahawks got lucky with 14 points from two kickoff returns from Leon Washington. I think the wrong team is favored here and I will always take advantage of any gift Vegas attempts to slide by the average joe.
2 units. Win.

Redskins +6 I don't quite get his line its about 2 points too high. I guess the reason for that would be because Vick is the player of the month and also due to the fact that he lit up two secondary's ranked near the bottom of the league in pass defense. Hopefully the Philly faithful give Mcnabb a warm welcome that way we can remove the money from the sweaty palms of Vegas. Mcnabb will no doubt have a chip on his shoulder coming back home to a team that basically discarded him like a piece of used furniture. The Redskins will be playing hard to help their new signal caller get a big win. I know the Eagles have the edge in weaponry with Jackson, Maclin and Mccoy, but lets dig a little deeper. Mcnabb has played against this defense for a long time, if anyone knows the holes in the Eagles D its Mcnabb, plus we are getting 6 points? Me likey!
2 units.Win.

Bears +4 Hmmmm...........why do I have a feeling that I am walking into a trap here. Hell with it I'm taking the Bears and the points. Bears are rolling right now beating the Cowgirls and the Packers in consecutive weeks. Cutler seems to have found his niche under the Martz system. The Bears defense has looked pretty solid. Manning isn't Aaron Rodgers and doesn't really have the weapons on offense that Cutler does. The Bears will be zeroing in on Hakeem Nicks and they should also be able to squash the run. The Bears are believing in themselves Forte is having a bounce back year in his new rule and Hester and Knox seem to be relishing their new offense. Also Greg Olsen has come alive of late. Chicago goes to 4-0 and the G'men are headed for a world of hurt.
1 unit. Loss.

Dolphins +2 Joe Robbie/ Landshark/ Sun Life stadium has been a House of Horrors for Brady and company when they come down to Miami. Dolphins are still underrated even though they beat the Vikings and Bills, on the road, which are both tough places to play. The Pats defense looks pretty bad as Ryan Fitzpatrick sliced and diced them in a shootout in Foxboro last week. The Dolphins defense is pretty good, that being said this should be a high scoring game. Chad Henne loves him some Brandon Marshall and both should have a huge game against a pedestrian Pats secondary. Ronnie Brown will be doing his usual Wildcat action back there keeping Henne in 3rd and short, Dolphins in a covered win.
3 units. Loss.

Panthers +14 I'm taking this game simply on a trend, when the Super Bowl champs lose the week prior they struggle the next week to cover. Also the Saints are 2-7 ATS under Payton as favorites of 10 or more. Write it down. Drew Brees is hurt and will be wearing a brace on his left knee. The Panthers won't have to account for Reggie Bush either. Like I said earlier the Panthers defense is pretty good. Look for the Panthers to copy the Falcons game plan with Williams and Stewart pounding away against the Saints less than stellar run stop unit, this will chew up clock and keep Brees on the sideline. 14 points here is too much for a divisional game and the road team has won 9 of the last 13 games in this series. How copy?
1 unit. Win.

Jaguars +8 The Jags are built to play one team and that is the Colts. The Jags will be bringing it this game as this is the game they look forward to playing. If you have been following my blog that last few seasons you will notice that I always take the dog and the points in this game because out of the last 16 games these two teams have played only twice has the difference been more than 8 points, I'll let you do the math on this one. The Colts were sleep walking through their game with Denver so I doubt they will be clicking their heels to go play the hapless Jags on the road. The Colts struggle to run the ball and I think the Jags will be able to stay in this game, Colts win by 5.
1 unit. Win.

There it is fellow Game Theorists, enjoy the money. I know I had some light plays this week but unless a game really excites me I'm not going to drop a car payment on it. Don't forget to tune in tonight at 9PM and listen to the show @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory

NCAA Week #5 ATS Picks

Alright people, the traffic is getting heavy on my blog so the public must be waiting for me to make them some more money. I went 3-2 ATS last week, bringing me too 7-7-2 on the season. Still nowhere near where I want to be. Don't forget to listen to our show tonight at www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory it will be on air at 11PM also become a fan of the show on Facebook and you can listen to the show as you are browsing my picks thanks to the widget I added. I really need a solid weekend and there isn't a whole lot to pick from. So here we go on another quest to capture more of that Vegas cash.

N.C. State +4 I guess no one is buying the Wolfpack yet, but I am liking them at home plus I get 4 points...........sweet. VT has no doubt bounced back from their early season stumble. The Wolfpack has been playing some decent defense, albeit they gave up 28 points to GT last week on the road, but how often do they see that style of offense. Tom O'brien has NC State heading in the right direction. Russell Wilson is a Drew Brees style quarterback and freshman running back Mufasa Green looks pretty good running and catching balls out of the backfield. So I hope the Wolfpack can continue their winning ways and win us some cash here!
2 units. Loss.

UTEP-15 Using the same logic as last week, the Lobos got midget tossed by an 0-3 UNLV team last Saturday losing by 35 points. The Miners can score points, the Lobos however have lost their last 4 games by an average of 46 points per game. Even though the Miners are on the road that stat has to make me feel comfortable with laying the 15. New Mexico's QB is also out for this game, so hopefully their back up is just as bad!
1 unit. Win.

Texas Tech -7 The Red Raiders have had two weeks to prepare for this contest, Big Game Tommy needs to get this win as he team is currently 2-1 and would like to stay relevant in the Big 12 especially with Texas losing last week. The Cyclones Austin Arnaud is questionable with a shoulder injury so who knows how effective he will be. I think Tech has the weapons to win this game comfortably, lets hope I am right.
1 unit. Loss.

Georgia -5 Both games I lost last week were from taking SEC dogs on the road, too bad Colorado isn't an SEC team. I don't quite understand this line, is Ralphie suiting up for this game? Lets not forget this is the same UGA team that played Arkansas and SC tough without AJ Greene who just so happens to make his return this Saturday just in time to make us some money. Mark Richt desperately needs this win, lets see if the Dogs can deliver.
1 unit. Loss.

Stanford +7 This is my favorite game of the week. Oregon is a finesse offense and Stanford is a smashmouth physical team. The Ducks aren't cut out to play that kind of game. Harbaugh is a no holds barred coach who will not take his foot off the gas. Stanford just like Oregon has a ton of weapons on offense and replacing Gerhart in the backfield has seemed to be a problem as the Cardinal has several backs who each have rushed for over 100 yards. I know that Autzen Stadium is a tough place to play and if I was a Stanford WR I wouldn't catch one ball because I would be drooling over the Ducks cheerleaders the whole game, but I'm not playing. I think the 7 is too much for the Ducks to handle in this spot. Stanford will wear them down.
4 units. Loss.

Another game I like but didn't put up is Temple -5 @ Army, keep an eye on that game. Until that day my friends, enjoy the money. Vegas..............come at me bro. Listen to the show tonight and I should have my NFL picks up by tonight.

NFL Week #3 Free money give away!!

After a dreadful weekend in my NFL picks department I'm going to step away from trends and go with what the teams have shown thus far in the first two games of the season. I won't be satisfied with anything but a perfect record for this Sunday. Vegas has skulldrug my account and has hammered the casual bettor and scored a major blow on their bank rolls. Time to turn the tables. Vegas for the second week crushed the public with the Lions, 49ers, Dolphins, Bears, Jets and Bengals all beat the number. The only games Vegas got hammered with was the Falcons beating the brakes off the Cardinals and the Pack beating the Bills. So lets get some revenge starting now shall we?

Patriots -14 New England needs a bounce back game after getting boatraced by the Jets last week. It was an abysmal performance for Brady's Boys. What better than having Ryan Fitzpatrick and the hapless Bills stumble in town for a New England style beat down. The Pats will use this game to get all the kinks worked out.
2 units. Loss.

Titans +3 I think we are getting some value here with the Titans losing to Pittsburgh last week. VY had 7 turnovers but yet the Titans only lost by 8 points. The Steelers defense is ridiculous so I will take this value and the three points to the cash cage as I don't see how the G'men can get it done even though they are at home. Chris Johnson should be motivated to run hard after last weeks performance. The Giants can't stop the run, and it will also be hard for them to defend VY from running wild. Lets not forget VY is a winner and a covering machine. The Giants cannot pass protect or run block despite the fact that they have no running backs, Jacobs is a crybaby and Bradshaw is a shell of his former self.
3 units. Win.

Steelers -3 Ok Tampa will be at home and they are 2-0 with wins versus the Browns and the Panthers...............yawn. The Steelers defense is almost unfair and I am not sure if the young talent on Tampa's offense will have much success against it. Batch will be at QB for the Steelers and the Bucs should be getting a steady diet of Medenhall. The Steelers have beaten two solid squads without rapistberger behind center. The Steelers will put the effort in to back up Batch and get the win. The spread on this game tells me that Vegas has no respect for Batch, but after this game Vegas will respect my account with a prompt payment.
2 units. Win.

Bengals -3 The public is pounding the Bengals which worries me because Vegas as I said earlier has been real shady so far this season. Who knows maybe this week common sense kicked in and they are giving the public a chance to get some cash money. The Bengals destroyed Flacco last week and also had a couple calls go their way against the Ravens. The Bengasl have a good defense and I don't see how Notre Lame wonder boy will be able to move on them. On the other side of the ball Palmer is garbage too but not as bad as Claussen. This will be a low scoring affair with the Bengals pulling it out 20-14.
2 units. Win.

49ers -3 Yeah it's a short week and they have to go to Arrowhead after losing to the Saints on Monday night and putting it all on the line only to lose in the end. The 49ers are a desperate team right now and I see some value here. If they don't win this game heads are gonna roll in San Fran you can write that down. The Chiefs are undefeated but they one a Monday night game at home against and overrated Chargers squad and squeaked by the Garbage Pail Kid Browns last week. The undefeated season stops here. Cassell is terrible and Todd Haley refuses to give the ball to their most talented player Jamaal Charles. Thomas Jones had twice as many carries last week than Charles but yet they both had the same amount of yardage. Not to mention Charles is on to of my fantasy teams and I am leaving points on the table because of Haley. 49ers leave KC with their first much need win.
3 units. Loss.

Eagles -3 Again I am laying money on a dog killer and I hate myself for it. That being said Jacksonville is terrible they made the Chargers look like a Superbowl team as they got their doors blown off last week. The Eagles will be playing hard in this game for the ASPCA's least favorite QB and to prove to Reid that he made the right choice. You really can't argue the logic by the Fatman. The Eagles O-line is crap and Vick has the speed to create plays as opposed to the statue like Kolb who would not doubt get sacked 10 times in this game. Eagles leave the Sunshine state with a win and Mike make sure you stay away from my dogs while you are in my state.
3 units. Win.

There we have it, 6 investments for your gambling portfolio. Enjoy!

NCAA Week #4 Winners

So far I am off to a 4-5-2 start in my college football prognosticating session, unacceptable. I went 3-2 this past Saturday also unacceptable. 5-0 and maybe 4-1 is acceptable so I have some work to do. I have zeroed in on some teams to ride and will continue to do so until the wheels fall off. So lets see what I have for this Saturday's slate of money-makers:

Alabama -7 The Tide historically struggle in Fayetteville, and the Razorbacks are a solid team in the SEC, this will be Alabama's biggest test of the season. I say that because The Tide have 3 new DB's in the secondary, and of course the Razorbacks have Ryan Mallet and 2 stud WR's. Nick Saban went berserk of Bama giving up 13 points to the Blue Devils at the half. So I am sure he is hammering his defense with drills as I type this. The Razorback D had problems with Andy Murray and Georgia was able to pull even at 24 late in the game. I expect a steady diet of Ingram and Richardson to keep Arkansas offense on the sideline. Alabama will help their young secondary with their usual pressure on Mallet. Arkansas is a solid club but I don't think they have the horses to stay within a TD of the Tide.
4 units. Loss.

Tulane +20 Betting on the Green Wave? First time for everything my friends. Tulane lost to Ole Miss in their last game by 14 points. If Masoli couldn't put up more than 27 on them what makes one think that a 3rd stringer from Houston will be able to? Granted Masoli is nothing special, but unless Houston trots out Andre Ware I don't see how they win by more than 20. I like the Green Wave in a covered loss.
2 units. Win.

Gamecocks +3 I'm buying the Gamecocks this year, and conversely selling Auburn. They squeaked a win by Clemson last week, I'm not impressed. South Carolina is a psychical team on defense and offense. Garcia has weapons in Lattimore, Gurley and Jefferies. Garcia has to be able to handle the crowd in Auburn, if he has a decent game I like the Gamecocks to win this one outright but I will take the points.
1 unit. Loss.

UNLV -10 The Rebels play the Lobos in Las Vegas, both teams have 0-3 records, but at least UNLV has put up some type of resistance, seeking their first win of the season at home against the lowly Lobos is a good spot for them and my bank account. I will continue betting on whomever plays New Mexico until the wheels come off.
1 unit. Win.

Stanford -5 The Trees have quietly put together a solid squad in Palo Alto. I look for them to take the Pac-10 this year. ND has owned Stanford this entire decade with the exception of last year. I don't see how Harbaugh and Luck go into South Bend without having something to prove. Plus Luck can use the NBC nationwide stage to show off his skills and help his case for the Heisman.
4 units. Win.

There it is readers, tune into the radio show tomorrow night @ 9:00 PM EST @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory I should have my NFL action posted later today.

NCAA Week #3 & NFL Week #2 Pick em

I'm putting out a combined blog this week due to the fact that I will be leaving tomorrow morning to head for College Station, I will be in attendance for the Texas A&M game on Saturday night. So ladies don't be afraid to approach The Blanket if you see me out and about, as I will no doubt be celebrating my 4 day escape from my captors. After a rough Saturday I desperately need a bounce back, so lets visit my picks for all this weeks action. Also don't forget to tune into the radio show tonight at 11:00PM EST time, you can catch us at www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory

NCAA ACTION WEEK #3:

Cal -3 The Bears have crushed both opponents they have played thus far, and our home dog on a weeknight theory has been non-productive this far. So I am going to go against the grain on this one. The Pomeranian Pack has provided they are purely paper tigers, choking again and again on their home turf on an ESPN televised game. I foresee that trend continuing here. Cal is looking to stay lockstep with Oregon in the Pac-10 and the Ducks will cruise this week when they host Portland St. Cal by 5.
1 Unit.

ECU +20 I'm not so much betting against the Hokies in this contest as I am siding with a 3 touchdown spread, the Hokies season is over, they have no reason to get up for this game. ECU coach Ruffin McNeil has his Pirates playing at a high level and they will not be distracted by the VT logo on the side of the Hokies helmets as the Pirates have defeated them recently. For me this is too many points to pass up on a game between 2 teams headed the opposite direction.
4 units.

Arkansas +3 If Ryan Mallet wants to stay on top of the Heisman race he will have a nice game against UGA as Denard Robinson is making a large case to get some much deserved hype. The Bulldogs seemed to struggle mightily against South Carolina. The Razorbacks defense is no picnic and with AJ Green still I don't know how Andy Murray will look, even though they are at home I don't like the Bulldogs as favorites here. Lets hope for a big day from Mallet and Josh Childs.
1 unit.

Alabama -24 Duke is 0-5 all time when playing AP ranked #1 teams, losing by an average of 30.3 points. Although the Blue Devils are at home and much improved I don't know how they will fare against the Tide defense, and I'm sure Saban will have his team ready to ensure they don't have a let down here. Bama handled a decent Penn State squad with ease as the Nittany Lions narrowly avoided the shut out. Heisman winner Mark Ingram will be back so the Blue Devils will have to deal with him and Richardson platooning out of the backfield. McCelroy does not get enough credit in my opinion and should have a sold game on Tobacco Road. I don't like laying this many points but lets see how it works out.
2 units.

Utah -23 Screw it. Another game where I have to eat alot of points. New Mexico might actually make this game competitive if they field their basketball team. This is Utah's first road test of the season, not that its actually a "test" but................Utah has beaten a solid Pitt team (thanks for that push btw) and beat a pesky UNLV team by 28 last week. So I hope they take advantage of this poor sacrificial sheep in this contest as New Mexico has definitely become a sheep dressed in Wolves helmets.

There are my five NCAA picks I really need to get back on track with my NCAA picks as I have stumbled out of the gate the last two seasons.

Now lets get to my NFL Picks:

There aren't many games I'm that excited about this Sunday, so I will only be taking like 5 games. I would also like to thank the 49ers for making me look like an a**hole. That was awesome, pricks.

Eagles -4 Shaun Hill. Sorry just don't think he can get it done. If Stafford were playing I might go the other way but we won't be seeing him for a while because Julius Peppers almost killed him last Sunday. My dogs won't be speaking to my for laying money on a dog murderer but they will come around if I take my winnings and buy them some Greenies. The Lions will be game playing for Vick, so they won't be as back on their heels as the Packers where when he game into the game after Matthews gave Kolb the Diamond Cutter on Sunday. What worries me here is Detroit's awful secondary, Shaun Hill and the Lions inability to run the ball. In other words I don't see how the Lions can get pumped up for this game losing on a terrible call and down their ace QB.
2 units.

Ravens -1 Another road tilt on a short week? Are you serious Blanket?! Yes I am and here is why, the Bengals beat the Ravens twice last season. I'm sure that doesn't sit well with Ray Lewis, the Ravens will be flying high coming off their win against the Jets so I don't see any opportunity for a let down here. Flacco had a pretty solid game against the Jets, I also think the Ravens will have alot of success with Rice and Mcgahee running the ball as the Patriots pretty much gashed them last week with Fred Taylor. Boldin is the prototypical Raven and should have another productive week here. Payback time for the Bengals as Palmer will be too scared to throw against the Ravens and I don't see Benson having much success on the ground. I know the Bengals scored a few points last week but that was in dumpster fire time.
3 units.

Patriots -2 I know what your saying "alright this guy is crazy, the Jets are going to win the Superbowl this year" good luck with that my money loving friends. The Jets won't even win the AFC East write that down. Lets think about this OK, the Jets have a great defense but they simply can't score. The Sanchise is too scared to throw the ball down field, Shonn Greene has Petersonitus and can't catch out of the backfield, Dustin Keller still doesn't know where he is, Braylon Edwards is garbage, Holmes is suspended. Moss looks to be having fun but will be taking out as he goes for a 60 minute vaca on Revis Island, that leaves Welker versus Cromartie/ Wilson, did you see Cromartie/ Wilson against the Ravens WR's not too hot. Cromartie won't be able to keep up with Welkers cuts. Brady is on the top of his game and him and Belicheck figured the Jets out the 2nd time they played them last season. The Pats I am quite certain aren't too pleased with the Jets pre season non stop press junket/ dog and pony show. This one could get out of hand as The Hoodie is known to be a tad spiteful.
5 units.

Miami +6 The Vikings looked bad versus the Saints, the Dolphins didn't look to hot in Buffalo coming out of there with a 5 point win. That being sad Buffalo has been a house of horrors for the Dolphins the last few years. Also not really talked about is the fact the Bills have a great secondary, top 5 in the NFL. I have to question how the Vikings will get up for this game. Favre still doesn't have anyone to throw to. AP is due for a couple of fumbles, not to mention Favre looked less than polished against the Saints. I expect the Dolphins to keep this game close, the Vikings should squeak out a 2 point win. Tony Sporano likes to cover on the road (see last week) lets hope that trend continues here.
1 unit.

Saints -6 I expect Brees and company will have his team ready to go and they have had plenty of time to fix their shortcomings they had against the Vikqueens. I don't like Alex Smith in this spot, I don't care if its a Monday night home game or night. The 49ers are garbage, if they couldn't run against Seattle how are they going to accomplish that against the Saints and do you really trust the Smith to Crabtree connection? I didn't think so.
1 unit.

There you have it all my money makers in one nice wrapped package, I'm out. Be sure and catch the radio show tonight @ 11 PM.

NFL Week One Picks

NFL kicked off last night with the Saints squeaking a win out at home. They earned me a little cash as I tend to be cautious the first week with my plays. I took the Saints ML -250 and I made a little spending money on their 5 point win. I hope for your bank accounts sake you are now following our new radio show at www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory if not why do you hate money so much?? Lets get to the picks.

49ers -3 This will be my first big play of the season, I know, I know, I am contradicting myself from what I stated above. That being said this will be a 5 unit play for me. The 49ers kept most of their offensive weapons on the shelf for the preseason, Alex Smith has improved. Normally going to play the Seahawks at home is not a fun task but, who exactly is going to block for the aging Matt Hasselbeck? Both Willis and Okung are out and Seattle's O-line is a dumpster fire. San Fran will have no problem stopping the Seahawks run game and Hassellbeck will have no time to throw. I don't even know if the Seahawks will find the endzone.
5 Units. Loss.

Packers -3 On the road in Philly for their season opener, Philly is a decent squad, but I do see some holes in the O-line and secondary. Kolb is facing a daunting task in his season debut. The Packers if you have been listening to the show are my favorites to win the Superbowl I have them beating the Ravens. Rodgers was untouchable in the preseason. The Packers are finally able to offer him some pass protection. Rodgers also has a ton of weapons at his disposal Jennings, Driver and Finely are all excellent options, I look for the Pack to leave Philly with a win. Packers win this game by 6.
1 Unit. Win.

Ravens +3 My Superbowl pick to play the Packers this year. I'm not buying the Jets this season. I don't even see them winning the conference as I think the Patriots will be a sleeper this season. Joe Flacco in my opinion will have a great year with his two new toys he gets to play with plus the Ravens do posses a top 5 back and a great offensive line. The defense is a year older but they are always a stalwart. Sanchez was unimpressive in the preseason and I don't see him doing much against the Ravens D. I'll take the points and the money. The Ravens won't be bothered by the Jets home opener in their new stadium on Monday night.
1 Unit. Win.

Texans +3 I think this is the year the Texans finally get over the hump with the Colts. The public and their hard earned money is flying the Colts way, to the tune of over 90%. I'm going against the grain here and I like getting three at home. The Texans are 8-1 ATS as dogs at home since 2006, another disturbing trend is the Superbowl Hangover Theory in which Superbowl losers are 3-13 ATS in their first game since the big one. I think the Colts secondary and their running game is suspect. They also have some holes on their O-line lets hope Schaub and company can keep this one close.
1 Unit. Win.

Lions +7 I believe the last time I took the Lions they burned me, if I remember correctly they went up 17 points and I was already getting them at +8 so I already started spending that money in my mind, that game was 2 years ago against the Bucs. Different times now for the Lions as they are actually projected to win a few games this year. The Lions are a publicly backed dog to the tune of 64%, the public is actually putting their hard earned money on the Lions? wow. The Bears were undefeated in losing this preseason and there is the old saying the preseason doesn't count but, it does matter. The Lions are full of young stars like Stafford, Johnson and Best. It seems Cutler is worried about beating his interception total for last year because all preseason long he was holding onto the ball like it owed him money. I am concerned about the pass protection for Cutler in this contest. Let's see we have a Mike Martz offense and a Lions D-line featuring Suh and Vanden Bosch, Cutler might get sacked between 6-10 times this game. Even though the Bears D-line has improved with the addition of Peppers he does have a knack for loafing and he already signed his big contract so we will see what production he puts up. Lions take this game by 4 and we cover comfortably, sorry battle!
3 Units. Win.

There you go, 5 games to help cover your mortgage refi in this wonderful economy, take some of the money I win you this weekend and by the wife, girlfriend or mistress a nice new dress or some new shoes! Also I will be posting other picks sans write up because I go over each game on our radio show and you know that because you are listening!

Rest of my picks:

Raiders +7 (1 Unit) Loss
Patriots -4 (1 Unit) Win
Browns +3 (1 Unit) Push
Broncos +3 (1 Unit) Loss.
Chargers -5 (1 Unit)

Week #2 NCAA Picks

For my official picks of the 2010 season my record is 0-0-1. I was not able to post all of my picks due to the fact I have to attend this awful place called work daily. Also I was able to get all my picks out on our fresh new radio show, be sure to check it out on Thursday September 9th @ 7:00PM tune or click in at www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory it will be worth your while. On our next show we will be doing a recap of last weeks games and give you some NCAA winners and NFL winners to add a cash mix in to your bank account. We will also delve into some relative sports headlines throughout the past week. So lets see what teams will be our top earners this Saturday, don't forget to tune in Thursday for more in depth analysis.

$$$$$$$$$$Thursday Night Home Dog Special$$$$$$$$$$$

Mississippi State +3 Dan Mullen had his defense and offense hitting on all cylinders as they took apart there C-USA opponents Memphis. I don't know why the Tigers are favored on the road here. The Arkansas Red Wolves gave the Tigers all they could handle on Auburn's home turf. Lets hope we steal some money from Vegas here, I like money more than Cam Newton likes stealing laptops.........OH!! Push.

Florida State +8 Christian Ponder had a nice outing against Samford, Jimbo Fishers alma matter recieved no quarters from the Seminole onslaught. Oklahoma squeaked out a win versus perenial power house Utah State Aggies. If Oklahoma does win it will be a squeaker. I expect FSU to be within a touchdown this whole contest, if they aren't ahead. Diondre Borrell had alot of success against the Sooners, like I said I think Ponder can keep this game close. Loss.

Michigan +4 Richie Rod really needs this win on Notre Dames turf. Last week the Wolverines dispatched a solid UCONN team although the Huskies contributed to their own demise by dropping 6 balls. The Michigan D kept Jordan Todman in check and Denard Robinson went nuts on UCONN D. Last year a lesser Michigan squad beat ND by 4 with Jimmy Claussen and Golden Tate on the field, this time around Dane Crist and Armando Allen won't be enough as the Irish fall short. Win.

Miami +9 Jacory Harris > Tyrelle Pryor. The Buckeyes will have trouble with Miami's swarming defense and will not be able to match the Canes speed. Miami is being overlooked early in the season and will be looking forward to this game to make a statement. If Ohio State does win it won't be by more than a touchdown. Loss.

South Florida +17 If USF can avoid some early special teams mistakes (see last weeks game) and play the type of defense they are capable of I see no reason why they wont cover the 16. UF did not look sharp against a dreadful Miami of Ohio squad, the offense sputtered but the defense managed to pull Urban's boys out of the fire. BJ Daniels is going to have to play turnover free football and be effective with his throws, hopefully the Bulls can pull this one out or there will be alot of broken furniture in my apartment. I just feel that 16 is too big a number in this spot. Loss.

NCAA Week #1 Football Picks

Here we go right to the point, I'm starting off with a weeknight opening kick off pick. I will be back with some more oicks for Saturday. To get the season off on the right foot I'm going with the following:

Pitt +3 Utah has alot of players gone from last years team. Pitt has alot of starters returning not to include Bill Stull. A new QB will be broken in by the mustache tonight. Look for it to be the Dion Lewis show here and Pitt will bring some defense to the Utes. Utah is also 0-5 against AP top 25 teams on opening week. 15 game winning streak comes to and end tonight. Enjoy.
