NFL Week #4 Free Money Give Away!!

Alright decent Sunday last Sunday, I went 4-2 ATS bringing me to 9-7 for the young season. College and NFL combined I am 16-14-2. Vegas is continuing to hot air balloon the public, all the Microfinance companies are probably getting hit up for short term loans as the casual bettor is literally losing his shirt. Make sure that you tune in tonight to our Vegas Takedown Show tonight at 9PM @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory become a fan of the show and most importantly LISTEN to the show, call in tell us what you think about our picks and how much you like winning money from the comforts of your couch while the wife is out shopping. Here is what I have for Sunday's NFL action.

Bengals -3 Cincy is not looking sharp on offense, Palmer isn't doing anything on offense. We are due for a big game from Ocho-cinco and T.O. Hopefully this is the week where that happens. The Bengals squeaked out a win in Carolina, yeah I know Claussen played, however the Panthers D is solid and doesn't get much credit because of their 0-3 record. Delhomme will be back so the Iowa State cover buster won't be playing. The Bengals defense should guide us to the money lane here.
1 unit. Loss.

Rams +2 Seahawks away from home are a dumpster fire. Rams are undervalued, Bradford is the exception to the rookie rule. Both teams have some work to do on defense but I think the Rams will have a slight edge here. The Seahawks got lucky with 14 points from two kickoff returns from Leon Washington. I think the wrong team is favored here and I will always take advantage of any gift Vegas attempts to slide by the average joe.
2 units. Win.

Redskins +6 I don't quite get his line its about 2 points too high. I guess the reason for that would be because Vick is the player of the month and also due to the fact that he lit up two secondary's ranked near the bottom of the league in pass defense. Hopefully the Philly faithful give Mcnabb a warm welcome that way we can remove the money from the sweaty palms of Vegas. Mcnabb will no doubt have a chip on his shoulder coming back home to a team that basically discarded him like a piece of used furniture. The Redskins will be playing hard to help their new signal caller get a big win. I know the Eagles have the edge in weaponry with Jackson, Maclin and Mccoy, but lets dig a little deeper. Mcnabb has played against this defense for a long time, if anyone knows the holes in the Eagles D its Mcnabb, plus we are getting 6 points? Me likey!
2 units.Win.

Bears +4 Hmmmm...........why do I have a feeling that I am walking into a trap here. Hell with it I'm taking the Bears and the points. Bears are rolling right now beating the Cowgirls and the Packers in consecutive weeks. Cutler seems to have found his niche under the Martz system. The Bears defense has looked pretty solid. Manning isn't Aaron Rodgers and doesn't really have the weapons on offense that Cutler does. The Bears will be zeroing in on Hakeem Nicks and they should also be able to squash the run. The Bears are believing in themselves Forte is having a bounce back year in his new rule and Hester and Knox seem to be relishing their new offense. Also Greg Olsen has come alive of late. Chicago goes to 4-0 and the G'men are headed for a world of hurt.
1 unit. Loss.

Dolphins +2 Joe Robbie/ Landshark/ Sun Life stadium has been a House of Horrors for Brady and company when they come down to Miami. Dolphins are still underrated even though they beat the Vikings and Bills, on the road, which are both tough places to play. The Pats defense looks pretty bad as Ryan Fitzpatrick sliced and diced them in a shootout in Foxboro last week. The Dolphins defense is pretty good, that being said this should be a high scoring game. Chad Henne loves him some Brandon Marshall and both should have a huge game against a pedestrian Pats secondary. Ronnie Brown will be doing his usual Wildcat action back there keeping Henne in 3rd and short, Dolphins in a covered win.
3 units. Loss.

Panthers +14 I'm taking this game simply on a trend, when the Super Bowl champs lose the week prior they struggle the next week to cover. Also the Saints are 2-7 ATS under Payton as favorites of 10 or more. Write it down. Drew Brees is hurt and will be wearing a brace on his left knee. The Panthers won't have to account for Reggie Bush either. Like I said earlier the Panthers defense is pretty good. Look for the Panthers to copy the Falcons game plan with Williams and Stewart pounding away against the Saints less than stellar run stop unit, this will chew up clock and keep Brees on the sideline. 14 points here is too much for a divisional game and the road team has won 9 of the last 13 games in this series. How copy?
1 unit. Win.

Jaguars +8 The Jags are built to play one team and that is the Colts. The Jags will be bringing it this game as this is the game they look forward to playing. If you have been following my blog that last few seasons you will notice that I always take the dog and the points in this game because out of the last 16 games these two teams have played only twice has the difference been more than 8 points, I'll let you do the math on this one. The Colts were sleep walking through their game with Denver so I doubt they will be clicking their heels to go play the hapless Jags on the road. The Colts struggle to run the ball and I think the Jags will be able to stay in this game, Colts win by 5.
1 unit. Win.

There it is fellow Game Theorists, enjoy the money. I know I had some light plays this week but unless a game really excites me I'm not going to drop a car payment on it. Don't forget to tune in tonight at 9PM and listen to the show @ www.blogtalkradio.com/gametheory
